The park is more evocative and exciting at night; the visit is 100% worth it. There are issues that would be easy to resolve. First of all, punctuality; our guide was not on time. Then, the arrangement of the outdoor lights does not offer safety because you cannot see where you are stepping, and the path outside is not linear. Considering that many visitors are elderly, the lights should be directed downward to illuminate the path; instead, the lights are directed upward and are blinding. Another issue is that an insect extermination is urgently needed in the green areas: the handrails of the walkways were full of ants that would stick to you. I believe that these highlighted issues could improve the experience of the Pompeii Archaeological Park, which remains a truly spectacular and unique site of its kind.
