Perfect tour. Bruno was very knowledgable. Would come back again. Thank you for a great experience!!!
This was an absolute amazing experience. We paid for much more expensive tours at the Coliseum in Rome and at the Acropolis in Athens on the same trip and this one topped them all. Our guide’s archeology background made the tour so much more informative. Our 13 and 15 year old said this was the highlight of our trip.
Lello was a fantastic guide- an archaeologist- he was passionate and so knowledgeable about Pompeii. He made the visit really exciting and interesting. Thoroughly recommend this guided tour
We enjoyed every moment! Italo is an archaeologist on-site, and his knowledge is simply wonderful. He answered all our questions with great passion and patience. We got to see most of the important highlights, and his insights brought the history to life. Even though the tour lasted four hours, we felt like we only scratched the surface—and we definitely intend to come back!
Great way to see the highlights in the August heat, and the guide was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. I was with two teenagers who found the tour interesting with the right amount of information, and not too long, which kept their attention.
Italo was great! Friendly, informative, and fun. Highly recommend his tours. Will recommend him to friends going soon.
Our guide was fabulous and very informative! With only 6 other people in our group we were able to ask questions and get answers. We saw plenty of very large groups 20+ that I am sure were not getting close to the personal service we were. After the excellent tour we spent another 2+ hours seeing and knowing what we were looking at. It was the best!
Tour guide was amazing and Pompeii is a must see. Small group is beneficial and the tour guide is what made the day. Very knowledgeable and funny!
Was a little nervous when we booked as there are so many options, but Private Tours of Pompeii was excellent every step of the way. It was very easy to reserve, with a reassuring confirmation. They picked us up at our hotel in Sant'Agnello in a really nice van with a very friendly driver who handed us off to an amazing tour guide. The guide was an Anthropologist at the University in Naples and was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii. We had three small children in the group of 9 and he did a masterful job of keeping it interesting for the kids, while covering so much information for the adults. This was absolutely one of the highlights of our entire 10 day Italian vacation.
