Amazing experience, honest people and highly recommended to learn about sloths and their true habitat.

The sloths play important roles in the diversity of ecosystem. Many of them have already suffered great losses from the ceaseless destruction of their habitats. Many are severely threatened and too many will soon be in danger of extinction if we do not confront the increasing threats facing them. For these reasons, we feel compelled to educate society to ensure their survival in this era. These mammals have incredible information about evolution, sustainability, and conservation to teach us about. Come and participate in this educational experience that will show you these animals in their natural habitat.

Amazing experience, honest people and highly recommended to learn about sloths and their true habitat.
I strongly advise against booking this experience. I specifically booked a sloth tour and traveled all the way from La Fortuna by Uber (costing around $30 each way) only to be told upon arrival that there were no sloths present. This is completely unacceptable, unreliable, and incredibly inconsiderate to customers who make significant effort and expense to get there. Instead of any meaningful resolution, they immediately tried to push me into a completely different tour that I had no interest in. I did not sign up for that, and it felt like they were counting on me settling for something else once I was already there. I declined, as it was not what I paid for. Now I’m forced to wait four full days for a refund. In total, I’m out approximately $60 in Uber fares plus the $35 tour cost — with nothing to show for it. This whole situation was ridiculous, poorly managed, and a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the frustration and do not book this. If you do decide to go anyway, confirm multiple times in advance that sloths are actually present before making the trip. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Put me in a horrible mood to start my day.
Hello Megan, Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and frustration this situation caused. Our Sloth Tour takes place in a natural environment where the animals are wild and free-ranging. While sloths are seen very frequently, we can never guarantee their presence, as their movements are completely unpredictable and out of our control. Unfortunately, on the day of your visit, no sloths were observed during the tour. We understand that you traveled a considerable distance and incurred transportation costs to visit us. Our team offered an alternative tour so that you would still have the opportunity to enjoy a wildlife experience during your visit. However, we fully respect your decision to decline, as it was not the specific activity you had planned for. Regarding your refund, it was processed immediately according to our policy, although the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on the banking institution and payment provider.
Excellent educational tour with Bradley. We booked the sloth tour but got to see a few of the animals they are taking care of that can’t survive in the wild. Highly recommend if you would like to see sloths in a more ethical way.
This was a fantastic tour of a wildlife sanctuary and the free roaming sloths, birds, and other animals that reside on the property. Our guide, Bradley, was very friendly an and knowledgeable and had a telescope as a well as a device to attach to take pictures. We booked the sloth tour and saw sloths as well as a cayman, several species of birds, dart frogs, and an iguana. We also explored the captive animals in the facility’s care. You can tell the facility is very ethical in their practice, none of the sloths are captive and come and go on their own free will.
We got to see several sloths, some fairly close! We also saw other wildlife (broad billed heron, caiman, basilisk lizard). Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Bradly was absolutely fantastic! My fiancé and I booked a tour with him and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. Not only was he incredibly friendly and welcoming, but his knowledge of the local wildlife was incredible We were lucky enough to see five sloths, which was a dream come true! Bradly made us feel comfortable and engaged the entire time. If you’re looking for a guide who is both professional and passionate, Bradly is your guy!!!
Very nice tour with Brad this morning! Lots of explebation and some nice time watching the sloths! Hughly recommend
W E were taken here as part of a Princess cruise excursion. I wanted to see the native animals, especially sloths and this didn't disappoint! They have guides there who are exchange students from other countries who work there. Our German girl was extremely knowledgeable and knew details of all the animals. We saw Capuchin monkeys plus others such as spider monkeys. Some had been recovered from private owners who mistreated them. There were also about 8 macaws in a large enclosure and other parrots that could talk. The sloths were the highlight for me. Some were in trees, others low on the ground. Also 3 baby sloths in washing baskets with blankets(cute). One mother sloth walked carrying her tiny baby upside down on her chest. We were able to get lots of photos. The girls minding them were happy to come close, but we couldn't touch the sloths. A wise move. After coming out of the park there was time for a cool drink of juice or tea or coffee. I donated some money in a box nearby as they rely on visitors funding. It was a delightful experience.
Bradley took us around to see 4 sloths and was amazing at explaining the conservation and biology for the two species of sloths that you see here. He also took us so see some of the rescue birds that they have taken in and gave us their histories!
We did two tours - the nature tour and the sloth tour - with Bradley, and he was terrific! He was so knowledgeable and personable, and his English was great. He clearly loves his job. We saw 2 sloths, an iguana and a blue jeans frog on the sloth tour. One sloth was so close and easy to see. This was recommended to me from local family, who said they are so naturalists and I definitely felt that on this experience.
