Monument closed
Washington monument closed today due to electrical issue. Very difficult to contact Viator. When I finally did reach a person they said they did not have this information so they could not refund my money. I have a picture showing closed sign but don’t know where to send it.

Very disappointed
Viator cancelled at short notice due to Chinese presidents visit. We presume. I want my money back please very disappointed

Book direct don’t use Viator
I booked a tour for the Washington monument. After I was charged for the tour, I got a notification that the monument was closed. I tried calling to rebook or get a refund, but I couldn’t get human on the phone. At the end of the day I didn’t get the tour and they charged me for it.

It's unfair that 3rd party vendors are able to grab tickets that are supposed to be free to the public.

Never got email with QR...
Never got email with QR code so had to beg to get entry. Wasted $20 and almost lost chance to get in.

I never received the required QR code. Couldn’t get in. Tried the NY number with no help. Waste of money.

Do not use Viator for booking!
Elevator is not operational. Was not able to do the tour I paid for. I was there and waiting for hours. No refunds for something that is not my fault is rediculous!!!!!!!

Great tour! Great view!
It was a great way to ensure we got tickets to go in the Washington Monument since the tickets can be challenging to obtain. The views from the top were amazing and it was a cool experience. Just a little FYI-The instructions tell you to go to a different location to obtain your actual tickets but you end up getting a link to them in the app (not email) which the rangers at the entrance helped me figure out. All in all great!
