Skip the Line: Strawberry Field Visitor Experience Ticket with Media Guide

This was a really enjoyable few hours, I found it very emotional listening to the music on the guide. Walking round the garden - or just sitting on one of the many seating options - listening to the playlist, was a pleasure. Much love to George Michael, he did many kind things in his life, it was a privilege to see that piano up close. The gift shop has many interesting items, some are reasonably priced, I liked the print of the gates.

I think it needs explaining that the doors right next to the counter is where the tour starts we thought there would be a guide and when we came out we went to hand in our headsets not realising the garden tour was on the headsets too!

Our visit today with our granddaughter was lovely. The staff in the shop Gilly and Cathy were super helpful. The garden is well looked after along with George Martin’s garden. The cafe served good quality snacks and coffee. Again the staff service was excellent.

What a fantastic little gem! I didn’t know about it until the NationalTrust mini bus tour went past and told us that the original Strawberry Field red gates were in the garden and in the exhibition was John Lennon’s Steinway piano on which he wrote Imagine. Great little exhibition with headphones and the history of Strawberry Field as a children’s home and now used by the Salvation Army. What great work they do. The ladies and gentlemen on Reception were really friendly and helpful and in the café Sandra, Abbie and Amber made me very welcome and accommodated my dietary needs. I found the whole experience quite emotional due to its history and the gardens were lovely and peaceful and put me in a reflective mood. I’m so glad I heard about it and was able to book it the evening before. It was nice and quiet when I arrived at 10am and I was in the exhibition a long time, as well as the gardens and the gift shop and café. Keep up the good work. Great little place.

Amazing experience in the museum and outside in the gardens. Well worth a visit. We used the headphones/guide. The two ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful. What an asset they are. Thank you Gilly & Cathy you’re were a joy.

Absolutely wonderful experience which kept both myself and 10 yr old grandson enthralled. The restaurant provides a really good choice of food and my veggie grandson said his roasted veg and hummus sandwich was the best he’d tasted. An added bonus to the morning was Tuesday stay and play with loads of games outside on the patio and lawn. Would thoroughly recommend

Three generations of our family visited a week ago and all had a wonderful experience. I used to go to School near Strawberry Fields when I was very little and so it was great to see the original gates in the gardens. All of the gardens were beautiful and easily accessible by using the lift for my elderly Mum who had mobility problems. The staff are really friendly and the museum itself was excellent. There was a very good multimedia guide with headphones that everybody enjoyed. It was very comprehensive and detailed. The whole experience was lovely.

Visited the Strawberry Field museum and garden today. Oh my goodness, what a fantastic time. We didn’t know what to expect, but it was a really memorable time. Loved the guided tour on the portable devices, so professional and well put together. The staff were brilliant and friendly, the young trainees in the cafe were doing a great job. Absolutely loved it all.

A good experience and great value for money. You could spend hours relaxing in the beautiful gardens. Really did lift all our spirits. Keep up the good work!
