had a 48hr ticket on red route and a mersey river cruise.highly recommend both get to see so much and learn about the area you visit.
There should be more bus that goes around. Otherwise, it was a great experience. Driver and tour guide were all very professional
Friendly, interesting and fun.
The Beatles tour was much better. Unfortunately, the guide was announcing landmarks too late as we passed them.
Brilliant tour with Degsy driving, he was able to manoeuvre the bus between a film crew lorry and jeep down a v narrow street. He was brilliant. The guide Jack was first class, v funny, political and cheeky, loved it. We were all in fits. I would highly recommend this tour.
Jimmy was a great guide. Funny and informative and even chucked a bit of singing in.
I wanted to say that our your guide Damion was so friendly and informed, and our driver, Lee, maneuvered throughout the streets of Liverpool with expertise. Listening to Beatles songs written 60+ years ago as we saw the sights was very touching. I can't say enough what a great start this was to my vacation. Damion even gave me a big birthday hug! Thank you for such great memories!
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time onboard with Damion and Lee, and we hope to welcome you onboard again soon! Best wishes, The LCS Team
Excellent value for money, and a fantastic way to see this fabulous city, it takes approximately an hour with commentary from a guide ours was Chris who was knowledgeable on the history of buildings & landmarks etc

Damien the tour guide on the hop on hop off Beatles bus tour was amazing!! Really good tour, he has attention to detail and great knowledge and information of everything Beatles and all their lives. Damien is amazing at entertaining his guests and tourists by singing to them all things Beatles' songs and playing his guitar. However, when we were booking and paying for our tour at the kiosk at the bus stop where the tours take place at the Liverpool Docks prior to going on the tour, the woman (in her fifties) and bald man (in his fifties) who collect the money and give out tickets for the tours where very stand off ish when we asked if Damien was doing the tour as we had been recommended to ask for him by friends who had been on the tour previous to us. The man and lady were very cheeky saying that no he isn't here any more but Damien is still there because we ended up getting him on the tour, and they also said that you know that Ian (another tour guide) has this best rates on trip advisor and he is the best in a very rude and cheeky tone towards tourists and members of the public, if they can't be nice and welcoming to all and have nice things to say about all their colleagues then they should not be working for Beatles Tours in Liverpool nor working ever with members of the public. I think maybe they are just jealous of Damien because deep down they know they could not and never be as good as Damien at being tour guides because he actually went and attended University to study everything about the Beatles and Liverpool history and culture so he knows his stuff and can sing and play instruments but I think I know what the issue they have with poor, innocent Damien the best tour guide, it's because he's not from Liverpool originally because he is from Manchester but now lives in Liverpool and they are original "proper" scouse Liverpool people and they don't like people from Manchester. It's pathetic that and they need to grow up! Keep up the good work Damien!!
