Departure time is 7:30 AM from **Downtown Seattle Hyatt Regency Hotel located at 808 Howell St, Seattle, WA 98101**. Please meet the bus at bus loading zone on the west side of the hotel on 8th Avenue. Look for the sign that says **"15 Minute Bus Loading Zone"**.
The tour begins in Seattle in comfortable coaches to the scenic farmlands of the Skagit Valley, home of the largest producer of Tulip Bulbs in North America. You'll have two hours to visit beautiful tulip gardens and walk around acres of fields of tulips in the morning and then have a midday break in LaConner, Washington rated "The Most Romantic Getaway" in Washington State. During this time you can enjoy a meal at many of their highly rated restaurants or shop at the wonderful boutiques and stores.
Finally we head back to Seattle in a comfortable coach with transport back to the Hyatt Regency in Seattle.

Our tour begins in our comfortable custom ordered mini coaches as we journey through scenic farmlands and across the Skagit River with Mount Baker as a backdrop. Our first destination will be the drive past the tulip fields in Mt. Vernon Washington. Here you will see your first colors of the tulip and daffodil fields when in bloom. An exciting introduction of what is to come upon your arrival at the Tulip gardens.

We then visit the beautiful flower gardens at Roozengaarde, owned by the Roozen family – bulb growers in Holland and the United States since the early 1700s. Growing in their display garden you will have the opportunity to photograph 90+ tulip varieties in addition to many more varieties of daffodils, hyacinths, crocus, & specialty flowers. Planted just behind the garden is a large tulip field filled with seemingly endless rows of color. Don't forget to pick up their free catalog where you can buy over 140 varieties of bulbs. Shutter Tours includes the admission fee to this garden as part of your tour price.

The historic town of La Conner, Washington is a favorite for guests. After a couple hours at the tulip fields and gardens you will likely be ready to settle down for a good meal at the many excellent restaurants.
Perhaps you'll want to try the Polenta with gorgonzola and mushrooms at Nell Thorn. Or Calico Cupboard Cafe'a and Bakery with their excellent sandwiches and huge cinnamon rolls.
And two exciting stores you don't want to miss are Caravan Gallery stocked with personally procured jewelry and textiles brought from far off places like Bali and Thailand by the owner Linda. The Wood Merchant will have you excited as you browse through the offerings of over 300 unique wood craftsman's who create both affordable and heirloom quality wood products.

Beautiful tour and great guide
Such a great fun day! The tulips were amazing and the little town of La Conner was beautiful and has a great art community. My only small critique is I think 2 hours at the tulips was a little long and we could have used more time in La Connor. However it was a great day with a great tour guide. Definitely a must.

Our tour guide was so...
Our tour guide was so informative and kind. I never felt bored on this tour! He taught us how to best utilize our phone cameras to get the most out of our tulip pics. He even took us to Kerry park to get the best view of the city which wasn’t even included in our itinerary! If you get the chance please book this tour!

Tulip Tour
Our driver/guide Dale was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and has great sense of humor. We went to see the tulips. Just stunning.
Dale is also a photographer, he gave us hints on getting the best photos and he was very willing to take photos of the tour guests.
We went to Laconner for lunch, his recommendations were spot on. We had a delicious lunch outside overlooking the water. It was a perfect day.
I highly recommend Shutter tours and Dale.

The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Tour is fantastic! And if you're lucky, you'll get Dale as your tour guide.
I am a local Seattleite but non-car owner and decided to use Shutter Tours to visit the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and I am so glad I did! It was a marvelous experience and Shutter Tours is a 10 out of 10 small tour group experience and priced right. Two gorgeous tulip gardens and lunch in charming La Conner. Perfectly paced and they kept us on time and back in Seattle at the designated time. I would 100% use their service again. Dale, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and, even more importantly, so positive and upbeat. He is a professional photographer and gave us all tips on how to take better photos, even on a phone camera. This was truly a wonderful experience. I would love to see them add more tours: Mt. Rainier, Leavenworth, and Olympic National Park would be great additions to the roster.

Another amazing tour during tulip time!
Another amazing tour with owner, Terry, this time on a Thursday, with perfect weather! We started with an early visit to a field of resting snow geese, and then they all took flight! Next up to Mount Vernon for a Roozengaarde stop and their amazing display gardens and fields. Lunch break in La Connor, WA and ended with another tulip field stop. Great rest breaks along the way and Terry’s knowledge is unmatched. What are you waiting for?
