Sightseeing Tour Visit Islamic And Coptic Attractions In Sharm El Sheikh

Firstly I have to start with thanking our guide before I leave my review. Mustafa was very informative and kind. As was the driver to took us everywhere. I booked this trip under the impression it was a 5 hour trip, with and English speaking guide and dinner in the old town. We were picked up at 5pm, Lovely driver and air conditioned car, we were taken to Farsha Cafe…… not on our itinerary. So we had a Quick Look. We were then take to the Al Sahaba Mosque, our guide took us around the outside of the building, giving us a very detailed insight of the Islamic religion!!! Which I did find very interesting. From there we went to the heavenly cathedral, which is absolutely stunning, breathtaking. After we were taken to the old town, where I thought we were to have dinner……. We were gasping for a drink, (a bottle of water was suppose to be included) Our guide took us into his local cafe where I felt so under pressure to buy goods, we got a bottle of water each, and I had a smoothie as again felt under pressure for. Our guide then got himself a slice of chocolate cake….. when I went to pay the cake was added to our bill!!!! We then had to ask to see the second mosque the al mustafa mosque, where we literally had 3 mins to take pictures of the outside!!! Didn’t get to go inside. Our guide then asked us if we wanted to go to either soho square or Naama bay. Naama bay was suppose to be included in our trip. We declined this and asked to be taken back to our hotel, as we were very hungry at this point. Our guide was over the moon with our decision as it was “helping him out” So our 5hr tour was infact 2hrs!!! I paid £133.95 for this trip, and considering all attractions are infact free to do I feel totally ripped off!!! I later found out at my hotel that I could have got the trip so much cheaper. Our itinerary should of been 5hrs 1 hour at Al Sahaba Mosque 1 hour at Old Market which included dinner 1 hour at Al Mustafa Mosque 1 hour at The Heavenly Cathedral 1 hour at Naama Bay £133.95 We got 25 mins Al Sahaba Mosque 20 mins Old Market (no dinner) 3 mins Al Mustafa mosque (photos outside) 15 mins The Heavenly Cathedral I feel so mislead and so disappointed Our guide had another tour to do straight after us and was eager to get rid of us. Bitterly disappointed!! Maybe check with other tour operators for better deals and prices before considering this trip.

Adam provided great service. Very complete tour, including access to the buildings. Very comfortable car.

Today we did coptic and islamic Cairo which was awesome. The history and the architecture was stunning. Lots of refreshments along they way as the temperature soured. In the Morning we did the coptic Cairo, Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old jewish synagogue – Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later we went to the Islamic Cairo, the citadel and 2 more mosques. After the tour we went for a late lunch at a local restaurant. Food was delicious. Later we went shopping in the bazaar where I could pick up gifts for people at home. I was taken back to my apartment end of day. The day was amazing.

<p>Assam was a wonderful, knowledgeable, kind young man. At the time I did feel like I was at school and there was going to be a test at the end of the day, but I learnt a lot. </p> <p>Again the day started really early, would have preferred a later start. Not that impressed by the restaurant we ate at, would have been nicer to go somewhere with the locals. Food pretty average.</p>
