We went on the shared guided Poole Fireworks tour and had a great night. It is every Thursday night in Poole Quay. Pick up was at 8.30pm and was prompt. There was plenty of space on the boat. I enjoyed the commentary although not many people listened to it. There is a bar downstairs but it has limited options. Still, it was a bonus. You get to see the sun setting over Poole as you sail out past Brownsea Island. There is a bit of a lull in the middle whilst you are waiting for the fireworks. Then when they start at 10pm, you have the perfect view of them. It was wonderful to watch from the sea. As soon as they are over, you sail back to Poole harbour. We were back by 10.20pm. overall, it was a very enjoyable trip.
