Poole Fish & Chips Lunchtime or Evening Cruise

Really lovely trip from start to finish. The fish and chips were out of this world. Very informative commentary but did break up in parts. Would highly recommend.

We went on the Poole harbour cruise, which included pre-booked fish and chips. It was absolutely brilliant. A lovely boat trip round sandbanks, studland, the islands and pool quay. The views were stunning. The commentary was excellent, giving lots of knowledge about the history over hundreds of years. Fish and chips were included and they were delicious. Boxed up nicely, with your pack of cutlery and condiments. Very well organised. We had a lovely spot at the front of the boat. So pleased our son bought us this gift. We then enjoyed drinks on the quay in the afternoon, with live music. Definitely recommend this boat trip with Coastal Cruises.

When we asked our staff what they'd like to do for this year's company summer party, there was only one answer - COASTAL CRUISES. Following a perfect evening spent with them in 2025, we opted for the exact same again. From start to finish, the evening cruise with fish & chips, welcome drinks, a DJ and a Bar on board - was just seamless. The staff are brilliant, and the booking process was super easy. Don't delay, book these guys for any party you're planning! 10/10 from Zest!

Very Nice Boat Trip with Excellent Commentary. Fish & Chips Good. Bar On board also, Sadly wasn't that Great Weather wise which was a shame but thats not the Company's fault. We thought it was Good Value.

After a bit of back and forth landing on a date (mainly due to unpredictable weather!) we enjoyed a really lovely cruise along the Dorset coast including some beautiful views of Brownsea Island and a stunning sunset. Fish and chips were warm and tasty, and there was plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views inside and (braving the wind) outside as well. The commentary was excellent, informative and amusing. A really nice end to our little Dorset holiday.

The trip all round was excellent. The fish was really good but we were disappointed with the overall quality of the chips. Also the sound system on the very good commentary was not always easy to pick up - a degree of distortion possibly related to the loud volume required. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We organised private hire for a joint corporate and charity evening. I wanted to say a huge thumbs up as had an absolute blast on Friday night. The Coastal Cruises team were fantastic and really looked after us so well with good humour and made us at ease immediately. Guests commented on how great the boat , the DJ and your team were. Originally when I rang around to compare companies Helen's care really was miles ahead of competitors. Im so glad we chose coastal cruise and the Fortuna as Friday night was such fun. Even in poor weather the whole boat were smiling and dancing. A successful night. A massive thank you from Amelia's Rainbow children’s charity.

The evening we went there was a storm and so we asked if it was to be cancelled, it wasn't as it was the last of the season and they obviously needed to make money. We arrived a few minutes early in blustering winds and rain but were not allowed to board, told categorically there was a set time for boarding, even though my Mum is disabled and there were lots of other elderly customers. On board the windows hadn't been wiped or cleaned so adding the rain and the stormy sea, it meant you could hardly see out to any view. Upstairs the speakers echo and resonate so whatever information you are being given you cannot really hear. The fish and chips arrived at the port and were then served fifteen minutes later, warm, greasy and the fishcakes for children were like something served up in the 80's. Most of our meal was binned. Then when we got off of the boat, the ramp to come down was so high my child was at risk of falling into the gap between the boat and the landing area and if he had fallen would have been crushed alive as the boat moved against the boarding area with the choppy sea. As for my disabled mother, how she got off the boat was a miracle because only after she shouted did anyone even offer a hand. I've awarded one star for the polite gentleman who was in the bar and serving food and the other star for the okay drinks served on board.
