Description
Established in 1998, this is San Francisco's first and original haunted history walking tour, led by international performer and local favorite – Christian Cagigal. You will thrill to this lantern-lit adventure through San Francisco's ghostly past and see its most notorious haunted places. You will walk one mile on tree-lined streets in a safe residential area with fine Victorian architecture. There is one moderate hill, the pace is easy, and the views are spectacular. You'll enjoy 90 minutes of history and fun! Highlights include: Poltergeists at the Chambers Mansion, the corpse in a barrel of rum at the Atherton Mansion, the ghost bride of California Street, the powerful woman who supported the Underground Railroad in San Francisco, and more. Your guide: Christian Cagigal is a Bay Area native and a lecturer of haunted history. He's performed across the globe as a magician and storyteller, and is a featured performer at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Go with an open mind and comfortable walking shoes
Expect to laugh and walk up and down a few hills. Christian gives you honest stories whether they’re true, speculations or who knows. Either way, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We had a good group from all over the states. The tour is about 90 minutes but it flies by, we would’ve been happy going longer as we were having fun. Definitely recommend to check this tour out.

A family friendly good time
Our guide was knowledgeable and as a dad, I found him quite amusing :) He weathered the storm of questions from a 14-year old with ease and even spent time a the end chatting with the group and addressing additional questions. A fun experience!

A great experience for tourists and locals alike.
We are locals to Pacific Heights – the neighborhood where the tour takes place – and really enjoyed this. The guide was great and the tour included some fascinating history about some unique people and places, some really fun stories, and a unique walk in a great part of the city. If you're a tourist, this will walk you through part of the city filled with some classic SF Victorian and Edwardian homes and mansions and get you closer to the history of the city. Well worth it.

Great Tour, Highly recommend
We did the SF Ghost Hunt Walking Tour with our guide Christian and had such a great time! We were a party of 8 (the whole family, including our 12-year-old), and Christian made the experience perfect for everyone in our group. He was funny from start to finish, while also sharing tons of interesting history and lore about San Francisco's haunted spots. You can tell he really knows his stuff! His outfit for the tour was outstanding too, definitely added to the spooky fun vibe. We didn't encounter any ghosts (haha), but it didn't matter one bit the tour was entertaining, informative, and a great way to see the city from a totally different angle. Perfect for families, even with kids in the group! Highly recommend Christian and this tour. You won't regret it!
