Steep walk but worth the climb

This tour is heavy on the history, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our tour guide was Thom, and he was great, very friendly and an engaging storyteller. Be forewarned, most of the walking is either up or down the steep Nob Hill. We stopped periodically for stories, so even my asthmatic self managed to survive, but wear good shoes and bring your inhaler!

The location of meet up...

The location of meet up is wrong. It’s the corner of Powell and Post in Union Square. 333 Post is the other end of the block. Sacks is no longer there. Thom was an excellent guide. Patient as we hiked up Nob Hill. Answered all our questions. It was just my family so it felt personal.

Nearly joined the ghosts

Thom did a great job and kept things entertaining, but I cannot stress enough - you definitely have to be in decent shape to tackle Nob Hill 😂

Lot of history, fun stories

Shumit was a great guide. He had a lot of energy and made the tour fun. There are parts of the tour that are a bit of a hike up nob hill, so if you have any health issues I’d maybe rethink this tour. Other than that, highly recommend!

Wonderful Ghost Tour

Thom is wonderful and answered every question we had. There was a slight pause at a stoplight going up Nob Hill, which helped us catch our breath.

Thom was an excellent guide. The tour included a well-balanced mix of historical context and genuinely frightening stories. Be ready to walk up and down a very steep hill!

History more than haunting

It’s more of a historic tour than a ghost tour but still very interesting. Lots of walking, which helped to burn off all the yummy San Francisco food!
