Sagrada Familia Private Tour

We took a private tour of Sagrada Família this past Sunday. Someone from the company reached out to us a few hours before the scheduled tour time to confirm details and offered us and earlier time than we had booked, which we gladly accepted because we had a departing train to catch later that day. We received a Google Maps link to direct us to the meeting point, along with photos to help us locate our guide. Our guide, Alex, arrived on time, even a little bit early, so we got to enter the temple a little ahead of schedule. Alex was friendly, warm, spoke excellent English, and gave us a very informative and knowledgeable tour of the Basilica, with historical, cultural, and religious context. As the tour was ending, Alex gave us additional recommendations for how to spend time on our own exploring the grounds. It was a lovely experience.

Everyone needs to see Sagrada Família. It is a marvel of architecture and creativity. There is so much detail. I’ve seen no other Catholic Church like this one. I also recommend getting a guided tour. Our guide, Daniela, was amazing. She shared so much knowledge and pointed out details that we may not have otherwise recognized. Every part of this building has history behind it. You don’t want to miss this.

Impeccable organization, schedules respected, kind assistance from another guide under the same brand to indicate to us which other guide was concerned. Paying more for a private tour outside of groups is an experience we will gladly do again.

We had an exceptional time with William at the Sagrada Família. He was absolutely adorable from start to finish and knew how to adapt just as well to our many questions as to those of our children, which is a real quality. His knowledge is simply impressive. He masters the smallest symbolic details of the basilica as well as the history of its construction, the various architects who continued Gaudí's work, the different phases of the construction site, and a multitude of fascinating anecdotes. You can feel a genuine passion that he transmits with enthusiasm. William was also kind enough to adapt the route and the pace of the tour to our family. Thanks to him, the tour remained exciting for the adults while being accessible and captivating for the children. We recommend William with our eyes closed. If you wish to discover the Sagrada Família with a passionate, cultured, and particularly kind guide, you will not be disappointed!

We spent a couple of weeks in Europe, and our main destination was Barcelona for this specific experience. Boy, did it not disappoint! Bill, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us. This truly felt like a VIP experience. I highly recommend it!
