The tour was just for the two of us. Our guide, Marco, was knowledgeable and helpful. It was a good way to learn some of the history of Barcelona and Guadi. It was also a great way to tour the Sagrada Família on a last minute basis. We booked only a few days in advance.
Our guide John was professional and friendly and gave us a detailed guide of the Gothic Quarter under 33+ degrees of heat, he is very knowledgeable and would definitely recommend and use him again in the future if needed. Thank you John :)
This tour was amazing! Both of our guides were beyond fabulous, The whole family enjoyed every moment (from 9 years old to 80!). We learned so much. I highly recommend this for anyone.
Very attentive guide, always tried to understand my Portuguese. It was very punctual, brought a lot of details in the script. The company provided last-minute admission (1 day before the visit) was doubting it would be possible, but gave everything right.
I spent $279 for two people for the private walking tour of Gaudi with Sagrada Familia tickets with audio guide. I was never given my audio guide. Simon was our tour guide and he was amazing, very knowledgeable with great tips. If it was just him then I would give 5 stars, but the tour operator clearly never paid the $4.50 Euros each for our audio guides, instead they gave us access via a code from a tour with four people that I don't know who did the tour two days prior. I assume so they wouldn't have to pay. Because of this, we were not able to use any of the Augmented Reality features during the tour, as the access expired. When I complained the only answer I received was to please write a review so here I am. One star for the tour company for giving us expired access to another family's audio guides instead of providing the ones we more than paid for. 5 stars to Simon.
Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about Simon. We are pleased you enjoyed his guidance. We would like to clarify that your booking included a guided city tour followed by Sagrada Familia tickets with an audio guide, exactly as described. The guide is responsible for helping guests download and activate the official audio guide on their own phones. We never advertise headphones as part of the experience. The tickets include valid official audio guides, so we are surprised to hear you were unable to use them, as this is not a known issue with the system.
Simón was our guide. They were attentive, friendly, maintained a reasonable pace, and included our 9 and 7 year old children in the discussion. Our children managed to keep up pretty well, until the last leg of the tour (Sagrada Familia), by which time they were quite tired. Hindsight, we would have booked a 2 hour tour, rather than 3, but would absolutely love to have Simón as a guide again.
We had a wonderful tour of Barcelona’s architecture with Simòn. Our flight was cancelled and we missed our tour and the company was very helpful and allowed us to join a tour the following day. The tour of Sagrada Família was very informative and pointed out details we would’ve otherwise missed. If you booked the audioguide, make sure you bring headphones.
Juan is an excellent guide. He loves history. He provides detailed descriptions. Viator should have advised to bring ear buds. Touring the Sagrada would have been easier if Viator would have instructed all to bring their ear buds. It was a very warm day in Barcelona. Juan did an incredible job finding shade for us all.
The meeting point was easy and convenient. The guide, Simon, was very personable.
Victoria was a fantastic tour guide showing us around the city and talking about the history of Barcelona. She has all the knowledge especially if you ask her the questions!
