Additionally, visitors are not permitted to enter the church wearing clothing intended for celebrations or festivities.

I’m glad I bought our tickets online months in advance. When we returned home I saw that it was sold out for the rest of the month. Finding the correct entrance took a little hunting, and the time of entry instructions seemed to be contradictory. Our booking instructions clearly stated for us to be prepared our visit might be up to 90 minutes before or after our ticket entry time. That limited what else we could plan to do for those three hours. On the day of entry we read further instructions that appeared to say we could enter up to an hour before or after our scheduled time. We decided to take advantage of entering sixty minutes early, but when we arrived at an admissions gate, the guard told us he would not allow us to enter more than 30 minutes ahead of schedule. When you do enter, be prepared to pass several check points including a security point as thorough as one you will find at the airport. Once inside however, you will be glad you went to all your expense, planning and effort. The building of this church started in 1882 and took 144 years to complete. The architect Antoni Gaudi is buried here. Upon completion the highest spire reaches 566 ft., making it the tallest church in the world.
Myself and brother were booked on the 6.30pm tour and had a great time. There is so much history and detail inside and outside the building that the guided tour is really helpful to fully appreciate. Our guide was very friendly and incredibly positive and passionate about the Sagrada Famillia. The cathedral is impressive from the outside but amazing from the inside and you are only getting part of the experience without going inside. The late evening sun coming through the stained glass windows is incredible.
Adrian Blanco was a great tour guide. I really appreciate his tour and his spirit. My only complaints are about the organization of the beginning of the tour. There are multiple tour groups in the little gift shop all trying to find each other and it's pretty confusing. Perhaps when you send the email out about meeting your group, you could also say what color flag to look for in the gift shop so you could find the right group. I recommend taking a tour that starts at 6:00 p.m. or before that because after the tour you can stay in the basilica as long as you want, but it closes at 8:00 p.m. I also think if I did it again I would spring for the extra cost of going up in the towers.
Very well run tour. A lot of detailed communication in the days before/of the tour to ensure we met in the correct spot on time. Nice use of headphone to hear guide throughout tour among throngs of people. Well worth it to skip the long lines!
Wonderful experience. Tina was so full of information. We learned a lot and enjoyed the experience from ages 10-44
Really looking forward to revisiting Sagrada Família however stupidly left booking tickets until last minute so ended up paying a fair bit more. Meeting place straight forward and guide pleasant and knowledgeable. The problem we had was not the tour company’s but the Basílica staff. It was 37° and I’d probably rushed and dehydrated. As such by the time we entered I’d started to feel dizzy and nauseous. I was still listening to the tour guide and enjoying his narrative but had to sit down. As soon as I sat I was told by one of the Basílica staff I had to hand back my audio equipment otherwise I couldn’t sit! The lack of empathy for an older lady obviously suffering was disappointing. I had felt better some 5/10 minutes later but by then had no way of rejoining tour. Paid £158 for two. While the building was stunning and the tour promised to be informative I feel the experience was spoilt by the attitude of the people employed by the Basílica.
Carlos was very informative and funny...loved every moment..thank you...

good overall experience, a bit challenging hearing all with the background noise with all the talking. Glad to suggest this to others.
