Booked for my family of 6. No indication we would be split in 2 carts. We tried to be chill about it. Were told we could go 3 and 3 or 2 and 4. Then another group of 4 hopped in the cart and wouldn’t budge to accommodate us. Even though they said they have been to Rome 12 times and one woman was a travel agent. They said we are 2 couples traveling together. I said I am traveling with my children. The man WS not nice and would not split from his couple friends. Truly, there should be a note that golf carts can only accommodate 5 people. My husband sat in the golf cart with the strangers. Neither golf cart’s radios were working, so you only got narration in the front seat. The two couples were very rude and left halfway through the tour. We felt bad for the guides as they had tried to be accommodating to us. But then they skipped several stops and ended the tour 40 minutes early. This was our most expensive tour and worst tour in Italy. 😞
We had a great experience with the 3 hour night time tour! It was a good value and we saw more of Rome than we would have ever been able to during the day when it is so crowded and busy. It was cooler, too! David was our guide and he had a wealth of information. So glad we did this!
Really fun way to see all the highlights of Italy! Such an easy way to get around and hit all the top spots. Our tour guide was incredible and gave us a full history lesson almost anywhere we went. The city was all lit up at night and it was really fun.
Its not private. Bathrooms are not easily accessible in Europe. Pack a cooler it is hot and you will need water.
This was our favorite Rome excursion! Andy was a wonderful guide - sharing information and making sure we got great photos! The city at night is beautiful and Andi made sure we got to see the best parts. I would definitely do this again!!
This is a must do!! We were able to see so much in the 3 hours of this tour. I also recommend doing this in the evening. So cool seeing things with the lights. We have already recommended this to other couples.
Matt was an amazing tour leader! So fun and knowledgeable ….and funny! Would 10000% recommend a golf cart tour of Rome! We did the night time tour/ the weather was cooler (especially for August) and the sites lit up at night was the icing on the cake!
Matteo, our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We did the 1.5 hour tour and it was a great experience, especially since Roma wasn’t so crowded due to the Ferrogusto holiday. Highly recommend a golf cart tour. The golf cart brings you really close to the sites and limits the amount of walking especially on the extremely hot days. It was a last minute reservation but well worth it. Highly recommend the experience
Alex was our guide. He was VERY knowledgeable about the culture and history of the Roman sites. He made sure we visited everything we wanted to see and more.
We had an absolutely fantastic time on our Rome by night golf buggy tour. Our guide was absolutely excellent — so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He was very, very informative without ever making it feel overwhelming, and he clearly knew Rome inside out. We learnt so much more! Everything was timed perfectly. We’re so glad we booked this tour & would highly recommend it to anybody visiting Rome.
