We booked this as a way to get an overview of the city and see what sort of things we wanted to spend extra time exploring. To be fair, we changed our pick up location and time and they were very flexible with us. One of our group had a foot injury but there was still quite a bit of walking. The routine was she would drive us somewhere (about a block away from the Trevi fountain, or to a nearby parking lot) and point out or give directions to a site. Then she sat with the cart waiting on us to come back. We did say there were 3 specific landmarks we were interested in seeing. The driver immediately made a face and said that the Malta keyhole was a "waste of time." Our 21 year old really wanted to see it so we stressed that we did not mind waiting in a bit of a line and were happy to miss some of the other churchy sights to accommodate a longer stop there. Repeated this request multiple times, each to her derision. She drove us past the keyhole but said we did not have time to stop AFTER taking us to several random churches.
We had a wonderful evening tour with Ivan who showed us the city’s highlights but also some less known places that were beautiful. Ivan had great knowledge of the city and was a fun guide!
