Description
This tour starts with the excited Tubing Adventure. Enjoy non-stop fun and excitement bouncing and splashing down 5 km (3 miles) of class 2 and 3 rapids along this narrow, rushing river of crystal clear water. There are plenty of quiet pools along the way to appreciate the beautiful tropical scenery of the Rio Negro (Black River). Our special, individual river tube rafts are designed with handles and protective bottoms. Guides go with you and ensure your safety.
After that, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at La Hacienda restaurant.
Finally, you will relax into the volcanic hot springs at Hacienda Guachipelín wich bubble up on the Rio Negro, naturally heated by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano - the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
You can use hot volcanic mud, which allows you to have a spa-like treatment on your entire body.

Fun activity and very nice waiter ( Keylor)
The activity was very fun and we felt safe, there was a lot of staff present to help us. However the organisation of the pick up seemed light, as they don’t check if everyone is there before departure. The food is excellent, especially if you are celiac. The Nekaju restaurant was definitely our favourite and our waiter Keylor was very nice and attentive throughout the whole diner.

Must do
Adventure center was amazing. Great service, very personal and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend going at the 1:30/2:30 tour as there is much less people during that time.

Exciting fun
We did the half day river tubing. It was a high adventure wild ride. Very exciting. Far more so than we might have expected. Very well run and the staff was great. The included lunch was delicious and plentiful. Thye hot springs and mud bath was also included and was a great way to relax.

Recommended!
Great trip down the river full of adrenaline. Lunch was good. And then relaxing in the hot springs. This activity is absolutely recommended!

Highly recommend the river tubing trip
Such a fun experience. That tubing trip down the river was the highlight of our vacation here. The lunch was great too and so was the hot springs and mud.

Good value day
The tubing was very well run, exciting and a lot of fun. The staff at reception were very helpful. The buffet lunch was exceptional. The hot springs were a lovely way to relax at the end of the day. Again this was very well run. Clean dry towels were provided on both activities which was a real bonus. If we had stayed in the area for longer we would have done more of the activities and stayed at the hotel. You could easily have two days here and not run out of things to do.
