Description
To enjoy this experience in the most affordable way the reservation must be done with minimum 2 people policy. This unique and adventurous one of a kind experience goes beyond to a single walk to see a waterfall, instead, you will feel that you are exploring the tropical and dense forest at the river canyon passing through caves, reaching wooded ladders holding on ropes to travel it and getting into crystal blue waters river pools to enter the canyon where the marvelous turquoise LEONA waterall awaits for you to be discovered. This experience requires a minimum of 2 travelers per booking. Reservations with fewer than 2 travelers are subject to cancellation with a full refund.

Our hosting and tour guides staff will meet you at the agreed location rigth at the town bar parking lot point, then you will move on a 4wd truck for 5 minutes to the waterfall excursion starting trail point where you will walk for 1.3 miles each way and spent 30 minutes in the waterfall to swim and take beautiful pictures of this unique and hidden wonder

Awesome Experience
We had an amazing and beautiful time! Jonathan & Bernie were great guides, very knowledgeable and welcoming, and they made the hike very fun! We saw monkeys along the tour and absolutely loved the waters! 10/10 recommend!

Such a good time. Jonathan was great guide.
Wear good shoes/ sneakers. You are hiking on some wet rocks. Water is so clean and refreshing. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and fun
The highlight of our vacation I can not recommend anything more if you vacation in Costa Rica. The guides were amazing constantly looking for wild life and share facts about Costa Rica. 11/10 I recommend for everyone.

Loved Our Tour and Tour Guide
The instructional video before the hike was helpful. The guide was patient and accommodating based on our physical abilities and fears. We were given path options, which we loved, and we enjoyed the hike as well as the waterfalls. We enjoyed the guides knowledge of the foliage and the little stops to explain and show us insects, bats, cultural references, etc. We got more than just a stop to the waterfall and back. It was an experience to be remembered. The lunch/snack is just fresh cut fruit afterwards so come fed. If you can request a tour guide ask for Pablo…he’s amazing, funny and friendly!!
