Excellent tour of Pompei
Our visit to Pompei was one of the highlights of our holidays thanks to the amazing tour with Paolo. He guided us to the main sites, provided detailed explanations and pointed us to details we would certainly have missed without him. A fabulous tour, highly recommended!

Paolo was recommended to us by our hotel in Positano and wow, am I glad we toured with him! One of the best guided tours I have ever been on. Paolo was part of the team that originally excavated the site as an archaeologist many years ago, and you can tell he has such a love for the city - he has tons of stories, anecdotes, and makes the experience fun. We never would have seen 95% of what he showed us without him - there are so many small details that can be missed on an audio or group tour. I’ve already recommended him to several friends who are going to Pompei in the next few months, and could not recommend him more.

An amazing tour
Paolo was such a fantastic guide through Pompeii and Herculaneum. Though visiting both sites in one day can be overwhelming, he made the entire experience the most enjoyable--the type of experience I'll remember for a lifetime. His passion for history and the sites themselves was immediately evident in the way he shared his knowledge with us and provided an immersive experience. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

Fantastic experience
Paolo was super knowledgeable and provided a great experience. He was very patient with our group when we wanted to take our time around the ruins. He answered all of our questions and was very obliging to any requests we had. Would recommend to anyone who wants an informative and well-guided tour.

Paolo is amazing
Paolo was a great resource. He was very knowledgeable about the architecture, what daily life would have been like for the people, and current excavation efforts of Pompeii. He catered the tour to our interests and even made time to show us some hidden gems. He pointed out little details that we would have missed about the city. He made the tour exciting and kept everyone’s interest.He allowed us time to take as many photos as we wanted. Honestly, the best tour I’ve been on.
