Private Tour to Cinque Terre from Florence

Nunzio was an incredible guide for our day trip to Cinque Terre! He picked us up from our Airbnb in Florence and, during the two-hour drive, shared so much history about the cities we passed and pointed out significant landmarks. We learned so much before we even arrived! We visited Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso on a hot and very busy Tuesday in August. Nunzio knew exactly how to navigate the crowds, including hidden parking spots, short hiking paths with incredible views and minimal crowds, and a great lunch spot in Vernazza that he reserved ahead of time. We really appreciated his local knowledge and planning. Nunzio truly made the day special. His knowledge, local expertise, and ability to navigate Cinque Terre’s crowds made everything feel effortless. The comfortable Mercedes van was an added bonus, and we really appreciated how he went above and beyond to make the most of our day. For a small fee, we were also able to include a stop in Pisa (worth it if you are short on time!). Before the trip, the Let’s Andiamo team, especially Luca, was also very responsive to my questions sent via chat and WhatsApp. We highly recommend Nunzio and the Let’s Andiamo team.

We really appreciated his local knowledge and planning. Because of the conditions of the water, we took the train from Manarola to Vernazza and the ferry from Vernazza to Monterosso. The ferry is better than the train, but due to water conditions, it wasn’t available to us for the first transit. Nunzio truly made the day special. His knowledge, local expertise, and ability to navigate Cinque Terre’s crowds made everything feel effortless. The comfortable Mercedes van was so appreciated, and we really loved how he went above and beyond to make the most of our day. For a small additional fee, we were able to include a stop in Pisa (worth it, especially if you are short on time). We highly recommend Nunzio and this tour!!

Nunzio spoke English very well and was a delight! He explained exactly how the trip would play out and reserved a beautiful roof top lunch for us . And gave us plenty of time to shop and explore. I absolutely loved this private tour and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the islands of cinque terre! Ten stars!

We had a great time with our fabulous guide Nunzio, he was very knowledgeable of all the areas on our way to Cinque Terra and Pisa. The restaurant booked for us on Vernazza had the best seats with an amazing view and great seafood. We forgot our fan on the van at the end of the trip, and he was so helpful to drop it back to us.

Our tour guide Nunzio was a wonderful. He had knowledge of the area and gave us history on every area we passed on our way to Cinque Terra. Once in Cinque Terra we had the freedom to explore knowing he would be a bailable if we needed anything. Great tour and great tour guide. Definitely worth the money.

Wow! Stunning views and Amazing experience! We had Tomasso for the day. He was knowledgeable, friendly and and excellent driver! He got us to our first destination with time to spare to walk through the vineyards overlooking Manarola. This is the picturesque town you see in all the postcards. We had the option of walking through town or taking a small hike through the vineyards. If you are able to walk through the vineyards, I would highly suggest this route. It was stunning views, and photos cannot do it justice. He even stopped to take a few wonderful photos of our family. We were able to catch a ferry to the next town of Vernazzo. This is where we had the most delicious lunch overlooking the ocean on top of a cliffside restaurant. The views were so spectacular. We spent our entire time here and did not walk around town. We then caught the ferry to our last town in Monterosso. This was a more family, friendly Beachside town. Where we had the opportunity to walk around for about an hour prior to meeting Tommaso. Our drive back was wonderful and he was able to teach us some Italian songs and Italian words. My father-in-law very much appreciated this as all of us. It was a wonderful experience and would love to be able to do this again! Thank you Tomasso!!!

Our tour was fantastic! Nunzio was knowledgeable and gave us insights on the drive. He made arrangements at restaurant with a beautiful overlook. He gave us tips on what to do and made sure that we had an incredible, worry-free day that was tailored to our preferences. He even came prepared with extra umbrellas as the beginning of the day was quite rainy.

Nunzio was an amazing guide for this beautiful trip! Cinque Terre is a must see and the restaurant he brought us to was the highlight of our trip so far. Gorgeous views, fun ferry ride and lovely experience all around!

We signed up for a private tour for our six peoples group on April 26. We were picked up by a very comfortable minivan at our hotel. Nunzio, our driver and guide had a lot to say about the history of Florence, the marble mountain, and vinery field during our drive to cinque terre. Our guide walked along with us to the very first stop Manarola at cinque terre. He gave us a tour in Manarola and recommended a waterfront restaurant for our lunch in the next town. The guide recommended we take a ferry (not train) to the next town - Vernazza so we have a better view of Manarola and Vernazza. He also gave us a guide in Vernazza and help us to purchase train tickets to Monterosso. We felt the view of the ferry was better than the train. We walked around Monterosso on our own.The guide went back to the first town to get Van and was waiting for us in the parking lot. The towns are gorgeous. The guide was so knowledgeable about the area and its history without being boring. He gave us time to stroll through the towns and to enjoy lunch. He is the best!

Nunzio was fantastic! Patient, kind and knowledgeable! Cinque Terre was amazing to see. Nunzio booked us a beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea at The Belfort.
