An experience worth every penny and every minute
Our guide Irene was a true font of knowledge. I learned many new and interesting facts about Michelangelo and his sculptures in spite of having visited it at least 3 times before. Plus her knowledge of art history was excellent. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

The perfect guide for the David
To see the David has been a lifelong dream. We decided we wanted to do it in such a manner that allowed us to spend time with someone that was very knowledgeable so we can truly understand the significance of this dream. We found the perfect guide in Irina, who gave us amazing history and access. I did appreciate that we did not have a lot of crowd to deal with so that we really had time to spend and absorb what was in front of us. It is magnificent and that word still does not cover it.

We loved the Private educational viewing of David
We really enjoyed our tour this morning with artViva. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. The 8:15am entry gave us a private experience with the sculpture of David. Amazing!

Incredible Private small group tour of The David!
Barbara was an Excellent knowledgeable guide who made David come to life! We learned about the history but also about how to interpret the David and why he was so special. We also got a few extra secret views of other parts of the museum. Barbara’s shares all of this in a story telling way while engaging our small private group of 5. Extra points to Barbra for skipping the line to get us right in!

Outstanding tour that is fun for the entire family!
Our family really enjoyed our tour of Michelangelo’s David with our wonderfully knowledgeable and engaging tour guide, Alessandro. We learned so much that we would not have found out on our own. Alessandro is one of the most experienced and expert art guides we have ever worked with. I highly recommend this fun and educational tour. Bravo to Alessandro and the entire ArtViva team!

Fantastic!
Guido was by far one of the best tour guides we've ever had! He was incredibly personable, knowledgable and even showed us some hidden gems along our walking tour. I can't speak highly enough of our experience and appreciated him going above and beyond with recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Private Tour of the Original David
Let me start by saying the two tours we took in Florence through ArtViva were worth every penny! My 82 year old boyfriend and myself age 70 Were taking our first trip to Europe and our first cruise that had been postponed for two years due to Covid. Deteriorating health made our original Rick Steves tour of Italy impossible however we used his suggestion of ArtViva. ArtViva was great to deal with via Email. Attempting to deal with “Florence on your own“ excursion from our cruise and coordinating tour times took some persistence. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have arranged for cell phone service simply for the Florence trip as I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi to use my email to get in touch with them once I left the ship. I had many people praying and we had the most wonderful tour guide Martina Guasti who patiently waited and did not give up for which I am so grateful!!! We both have hearing issues and I was relieved when she spoke that her phraseology and English were spot on. Her love of art and DAVID mixed with her vast knowledge gave us an unforgettable memory! Thanks from Karen & Cooper in AZ

Tour cancelled at the last minute
The tour company hired by Viator cancelled the tour about a week before we were to go. They said they didn't have enough people that signed up. Interestingly enough the tour was still available to book when we looked for a different tour. We used a different tour company, paid less and had a great tour with just 4 other people.

Artviva are lucky to have Hilde!
My second tour in Florence, Italy, and by the far the best. Hilde took me through the streets and her knowledge was mind blowing. Not to mention she was one of the nicest people I have ever met, period. Artviva are extremely lucky to have her. Unfortunately a 6 star rating isn’t available on trip advisor.

Fantastic Tour
We took the ArtViva tours of both the Accademia and the Uffizi when we were in Florence last month. Our guide Brenda was wonderful and it was clear that she loves her work. She was extremely knowledgeable and we learned fascinating details about the art, sculptures and artists that we would have missed if we had done the tours on our own. We also got to skip the lines. We highly recommend these tours!
