Marsa Alam - Luxor & Cairo in 3 days - everything great
I took the 3-day tour from Marsa Alam to Luxor and then to Cairo with my son. We had the guides all to ourselves. The daily schedule was flexibly adapted to us. The guides always made sure to stay outside of the tourist groups, which I found very pleasant. You received a lot of information about all the sights, but also about other topics. We were accompanied safely and reliably to and from the flights or other transfers. I would book the trip again this way.

Everything perfect!
We booked a private day tour from Hurghada to Cairo by plane. It was perfect all around. Contact via WhatsApp very easy. Both the pickup in the lobby and the driver who accompanied us all day were always on time and very pleasant (not exactly easy with the traffic in Cairo). Our tour guide fulfilled all our wishes, always had a little insider tip, and told us a lot about Egypt. Besides that, he was a photographer, comedian, and knows every person and every corner in Cairo.
Our day: Old Cairo - Bazaar - Boat trip on the Nile - Pyramids - Grand Egyptian Museum
Many thanks for the unforgettable day

Incredible price-performance ratio from Hurghada to Cairo.
Hello everyone,
I am actually not a big reviewer, but in this case I would like to share our experience so that you too can have a great experience...
Two days ago (Mon.) we decided spontaneously to take a trip to Cairo during our stay in Egypt. Since the prices through tour operators have meanwhile risen sharply (330,- € p. P. as a group tour), we looked for a reliable and affordable alternative. The biggest challenge was finding an external provider on-site that you can really trust.
After some research, we came across Zakarias Tours. Communication via WhatsApp was extremely fast, friendly, and professional from the beginning. All questions were answered competently and the entire organization went smoothly. Within a very short time, we agreed on a date, sent the required passport data via WhatsApp, and the flights as well as the pickup from the hotel were organized without any problems.
Punctually as agreed, we were picked up two days later at 4:30 AM in the hotel lobby. Our initial concerns about visiting Cairo in August with temperatures of 38 degrees quickly vanished. Our certified tour guide Markus picked us up directly at the airport in Cairo, including driver Aisad, and took us to the pyramids in an air-conditioned vehicle (private tour). Since we arrived there in the morning and the entire tour was very well organized, the heat was absolutely bearable and the visit was extremely pleasant.
The pyramids and the Sphinx were, of course, an impressive experience that will remain in our memories for a long time. I also recommend booking the large burial chamber on-site (27,- € p. P.). However, you should really be fit and not have claustrophobia (30-meter-long corridor, 80 x 80 cm, on an incline; expect oncoming traffic and the oxygen level is very reduced). If you have no problems with that, definitely do it!!!
Afterward, we went to a typical Egyptian restaurant for lunch. The food was very hearty, of high quality, and extremely delicious – another nice insight into Egyptian culture.
After that, we visited the new Egyptian Museum. There, Markus impressed us with his extensive expertise and his passion for the history of Egypt. Thanks to his interesting explanations, the three hours flew by and were extremely entertaining.
Afterwards, our private tour continued into the old town and to the old bazaar. Here, too, we were impressed by Markus' knowledge and were able to experience the everyday life, the atmosphere, and the colorful hustle and bustle of an Egyptian bazaar up close. It was an authentic and unforgettable glimpse into life away from the classic tourist attractions.
In the early evening, we finally headed back to the airport. With many new impressions, unforgettable moments, and a lot of emotions in our luggage, we landed back in Hurghada happily around 9:30 PM. The driver was already waiting at the airport and took us back to the hotel.
We would like to thank Zakarias Tours, who made this extraordinary day possible for us as a private tour at a very affordable price of €280 p. P. possible. The entire organization, the support, and especially the guidance provided by Markus were outstanding.

Extraordinary day trip from Marsa Alam to Cairo – absolute recommendation!
We are spending our family vacation this year in Egypt for the first time. We are in Marsa Alam on the Red Sea and decided to book a day trip to Cairo to see the pyramids. In doing so, we came across Zakarias Tours during our research. - I can understand if Germans in particular might have reservations about local travel companies and prefer to book with GetYourGuide or Booking or other platforms. We dared to do it anyway and did not regret it! It was an extraordinarily great travel experience.
From the communication—we called the hotline because we still had questions beyond the information on the homepage, where all our questions were answered in fluent German—to the overall organization, everything went exceptionally well. Everyone was totally committed to making it a wonderful experience for us. The journey is certainly a bit arduous with the early transport to the airport in Hurghada, the flight, and so on, but we were aware of that from the start. The effort was definitely worth it, and this provider prioritizes punctuality and comfort.
We would like to highly commend our tour guide Markus, who has an academic background, brings very sound historical knowledge, and is a very polite, courteous, and lovely person who planned this day very individually for us and always catered to our wishes!
We would like to encourage everyone to book this tour with Zakarias Tours. Everything is one hundred percent safe, and due to the specialization in German, Austrian, and Swiss customers, it is truly one of the best experiences we have had in a long time.
Thank you very much.

Perfect day trip to Cairo with an outstanding guide, Markus
We had an excellently organized day trip from Hurghada to Cairo with the Pyramids of Giza, the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) as well as Old Cairo and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar.
A special compliment goes to our guide, Markus. He accompanied us all day with exciting stories, historical background, and a lot of interesting information. Thanks to his excellent explanations, we were able to understand the history and significance of the sights much better. His friendly manner and his vast knowledge made the tour a special experience.
The lunch was also very delicious and the entire organization went smoothly. From the pickup to the return trip, everything was perfectly coordinated.
Many thanks to Markus and the entire team for this unforgettable day. We can recommend this tour without reservation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect excursion.
The program was perfectly put together: The pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, a nice restaurant, as well as the old town impressed us very much.
Our guide Markus was extremely diligent, incredibly attentive, and led us through the day with a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm.
Thanks also to our driver Mohammed for his safe and calm drive through Cairo.
We were completely satisfied with the organization and support from Zakharious Tours.
