Somewhat disappointing experience
The tour was okay, but I was pretty disappointed with the guide. The driver was late, the guide was not very professional and didn’t really enrich the sites. He was hard to understand at times and was constantly going off and socializing with other people. He knew some dates and facts, but I felt like I had to ask a lot of questions to get him to tell us information. He did get us safely through the city and to all of the sites. I have been on other tours in other cities and a good tour guide can really bring a tour to life. I felt like googling everything to actually learn more.
Operator response
We are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that the driver was not late; the tour began approximately 35 minutes after the scheduled time because your party arrived late.
Throughout the itinerary, the guide stopped at the designated locations and provided the relevant historical explanations. During several of these moments, one member of your party stepped away to take photographs and therefore missed part of the information being presented. The guide completed the planned itinerary safely and within the remaining time available.
Nevertheless, we take your comments regarding communication and professionalism seriously and will review them internally, as we remain committed to offering informative and engaging experiences.

Private SSA Tour
The boys who accompanied us were very polite, kind and helpful. Our transportation was quite comfortable, cleanliness impeccable. Guide Vagner demonstrated a lot of knowledge and made a great script. Definitely was the difference of the trip. I recommend knowing Salvador from this perspective.

Corta visita a Salvador
We had an incredible experience exploring Salvador with Jose Quiroiz, our tour guide. He was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.
We gained a much deeper appreciation for Salvador’s rich Afro-Brazilian heritage, vibrant neighborhoods, and unique atmosphere. We would highly recommend this guide to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience.

An unforgettable experience in Salvador — Monia is exceptional
Monia was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide in Salvador. From the very beginning, she made the city come alive in a way that was both deeply informative and emotionally moving.
She guided us through historic neighborhoods and sacred sites while beautifully weaving together the history of Brazil, the African influence, and the cultural soul of Salvador. Her storytelling was rich, thoughtful, and powerful—you could feel how much love and pride she has for her city and its heritage.
What made this tour truly special was how she helped us feel Salvador, not just see it. By the end of the day, we didn’t just understand the history—we fell in love with the city itself. The music, the spirituality, the resilience, the beauty—Monia honored all of it with grace and intelligence.
If you want more than a surface-level tour—if you want depth, context, culture, and heart—Monia is the guide you want. This was one of the highlights of our time in Brazil, and we are so grateful for the experience.
Highly, highly recommend.

The absolute best of Bahia!
The booking of Your Tour was extremely easy and professional. Marco was lovely to talk with and worked with me to curate a one-of-a-kind experience, considering both my interests and time constraints. Payment was also very easy and seamless as well.
Wilson was our tour guide and he is impeccable. His knowledge of Salvador’s history, culture, and customs is impressive and likely unmatched. He was kind, professional and funny, adding a unique twist to a tour of the city.
Our driver, Heraldo, was safe, reliable and timely.
Not only would I recommend this company and guide to anyone visiting Salvador, I look forward to booking them again when I return to the city.
