We spent the most amazing day with Kosuke! We saw so many different sites all over Kyoto. Not only did Kosuke drive us and drop us off/pick us up in very convenient locations, but he walked through the various locations with us and explained so many things that we would have otherwise missed. We never would have been able to see as many sites in one day, and our experience would not have been as great without Kosuke.! His van was great, and fit our family of 5 perfectly with lots of room. Highly recommend!

We went on a fabulous tour with Kosuke who took us in his huge van around Kyoto. He customized the tour to our preferences and went out of his way to make sure we tried foods and other things we wanted. Also takes fabulous photos Very reasonable cost. Thank you for a 7 hour tour Highly recommend

We had such a great full-day tour with Kosuke! He was very flexible and tailored the day around our family and our kids’ needs, which we really appreciated. His van was super comfortable and honestly such a lifesaver in the summer heat — it was so nice to cool down between stops! Kosuke drove us all the way to Nara, and we still managed to see several highlights in Kyoto without ever feeling rushed. He’s also a great photographer and took some really nice family photos for us throughout the day. Overall, it was such an easy, enjoyable, and memorable day. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. We would highly recommend Kosuke, especially for families traveling with kids!

Kasuke is an excellent tour guide. He knows the city of Kyoto and its history very well, often surprising us with details we would have never known. For example, the electronics company Cannon was named for Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy in Japanese Buddhism. We covered 3 days of temples in one day in his air conditioned van. Highly recommend.

KSK-Tour (Kosuke) did an amazing job at showing our family Kyoto. Kosuke's in-depth knowledge of the area enabled us to see many hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. With Kosuke's help, we were able to see many beautiful areas while avoiding the bulk of the crowds. Kosuke is warm and welcoming and is an excellent guide. We were fortunate enough to have Kosuke as a guide for a day in Kyoto. I travelled with my family (husband, and 3 sons, along with my mother in law), and along with some specific requests from us to see certain tourist spots, Kosuke also recommeded a couple of place along the way that we had not factored in. It was such an amazing day!! Kosuke was amazing with his knowledge on each spot we visited - he provided us with historial and cultural information, and allowed us plenty of time to visit each individual spot, but still managed to pack in as much as we could within the day to maximise our time. There is no way we would have seen as many of the sights as we did in the same timeframe, if we had to navigate train/bus/foot transport ourselves, and wouldn't have received all of the great historical/cultural information along the way. Plus Kosuke is a great photographer! As a mum that is always behind the camera, and not in front of it with her family, Kosuke happily snapped so many great family shots for us. Would highly recommend as a must do whilst in Kyoto!

Ko is a fantastic tour guide, exceptional driver, and wonderful photographer. After averaging 8 to 10 miles of walking each day, having a private driving tour was very welcome. It was also incredibly efficient for accessing spots that take longer to reach when you have limited time: Komyo-in Temple, Sanjūsangendō Temple, Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Arashiyama Monkey Park. Ko showed us the best food vendors, great shopping streets, and even gave us a chance to feed koi in a quiet and peaceful setting. I highly recommend him for anyone who is visiting Kyoto.

Kosuke San was an excellent guide for our three days. Our family of 2 generations (in their 50s and late 70s) had differing interests and physical capabilities. Prior to our trip and during our tours he was prompt in his email and text communications. He was very flexible, patient and gentle in his interactions with us all, especially the older members. He helped us see our places of interest and suggested others which were very enjoyable. Kosuke always dropped us off and picked us up to minimise walking distances and steps. He stayed with the older members if they chose not to go farther. He had terrific general knowledge and insights beyond the sites visited. Kosuke was very friendly and spoke great English. He had tasty recommendations for meals. He is a capable and very safe driver. We would highly recommend Kosuke for any type of private tour for a more personalised experience in the Kyoto region.
