From your departure 30 min to arrive at The Roman causeway of Djerba or causeway of El Kantara is a land road 7.5 kilometers long, built by the Romans at the end of the 2nd century and linking Zarzis to the island from Djerba, after spending 15 minutes of discovery we will take the road to Ksar Ghilane for around 2 hours drive
you head towards the desert and the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. Little by little, the road which winds between the hills will take you towards drier and rockier landscapes until the entrance to Ksar Ghilane, where the sand of the desert will finally be present. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant located near the dunes, which offers a unique ambiance. You will have free time to relax and even bathe in the hot spring in the Ksar Ghilane oasis. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to take a quad or camel ride (optional) to the Roman fort of Tisavar, which will add a bit of adventure to your experience, then we take an hour of road to reach ksar hadada

A magnificent excursion, the best of our trip! Departure from the hotel right on time, the guide was already waiting for us. First part of the trip to Ksar Hallouf for a break and an educational presentation for our children. Stop at Ksar Ghilane for a swim in the natural spring, not to be missed. The camel ride through the Sahara dunes was great, but the 2-hour quad bike outing to admire the sunset is an absolute must-do!!! The return trip with a meal stop at Ksar Hadada for lunch is also extraordinary. This ksar, modernized into a hotel restaurant, is just magnificent and the typical meal was top-notch! Thanks again to Israa Travel Agency, contacted before our departure from France, which was just perfect!!!

We had a great day with Mohammed and Hafed. The pick up was early and we had a warm greeting the 4x4 was clean and comfortable even had cold water. Felt safe with Hafed's driving (after some scary driving on a previous trip). Mohammed was informative but not ott. It was a great way to see the Sahara and being able to take it at our own pace was great

We had a very beautiful day accompanied by the two guides, the landscapes are magnificent, the guides are very attentive and showed us a good part of Djerba and its history. The meal was very good and generous, but it lacked dessert. I would give a score of 9/10 (for the dessert lol) I recommend it a thousand times

Incredible experience! The visit to Ksar Ghilane was truly great. The landscape was magnificent, and we took a quad ride in the desert to the Roman fort; once again, the scenery is splendid. The guide Fati and the driver Hafed are amazing; they made us have an incredible day. I loved it.
