The meeting point is You will see our white pick up truck with a large Maui Surfer Girls logo on the highway side, parked along the highway. Park near our truck on the Lahaina-side of Ukumehame Park, at the furthest picnic table from parking lot. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Jedi was super supportive and got me up on the surfboard in no time. I honestly didn't think it was possible due to issues with my knees. He was very patient with me and cheered me on every step of the way. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much about the geography of the ocean, the etiquette of surfing and most especially the Zen of being at one with the ocean. Thank you, Jedi!
I have never surfed before and truly had a blast! Dan was a phenomenal instructor and helped me feel comfortable and confident on the water. By the end of the lesson, I was surfing slightly bigger and faster waves! Kiki the photographer also captured exceptional photos during the lessons. We had such a wonderful experience with Maui Surf Girls! My husband and I had a semi private lesson with Dan and we both got up on so many waves! Our daughter had a private lesson doing tandem surfing with Natalie and she was so proud of herself and stood up over and over again. I was very impressed with the entire process from learning about where to catch the waves and swim back to being out on the water. The care for safety (especially for our child) and the environment was clear. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Natalie and Dan. Thank you so much!!!
We had a great time and it was very informative with our coaches to learn to surf as a family. We had so much fun and Andrew, Lily, and Jedi were really helpful.
Had an amazing time! My sister and I had taken a surf lesson before with another company, but surfing with Andrew was a completely different experience. We learned so much, had an absolute blast, and felt way more confident in the water afterward. Andrew was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really fun. Couldn’t recommend this enough!
My 7yr old son and I completed a 2-hour surf lesson with Kelly (my instructor) and Jedi (my son's instructor). It was the MOST fun we had in Hawaii and we did a million incredible things while there. I will hold on to that memory forever. I wish the day lasted 10 hours because 2 was not enough. Kelly was incredibly knowledgable and started from how the ocean flows and how waves work in this type of ocean to me riding in without wiping out on a few waves at the end. She is patient, kind, conversational, and one of those people you feel that you have known forever. I have never felt more safe and comfortable out in the ocean. Jedi was amazing with our son. He kept our sons attention the whole time and knew exaclty how to interact with kids and allowed for play time between teaching and made teaching fun. He took the time to stop and play in the sand, cracked a coconut open and taught our son how to drink from it and eat from it. Our son caught multiple waves with Jedi's help on the board and he was so sad when the lesson was over. I would spend the month 1,000,000 times over and I would do it every time I go. I am even going to sign up next year for the women's surf camp because I just want more.
My daughter (age 7) and myself had an amazing time learning from Maggie and Dan. My daughter was so nervous before her lesson, and Maggie immediately put her at ease; she gained enough confidence to stand up on the board three times! Dan was really encouraging and helpful, and I loved his laid back approach!
Wow! We had terrible weather but they were very easy to work on rescheduling with and it was really fun! I definitely recommend them for sure! Natalie was our guide and she was fun and very enthusiastic and encouraging. Love this company and would highly recommend going with them! Awesome Job! Thank you
I booked a private lesson for my 10 year old daughter. She had Jamie who immediately made her feel comfortable and helped her catch 5-6 waves which was great. The beach was easy to find and I set up a chair and umbrella to watch from shore. Recommend bringing binoculars so you can see your surfer because they are pretty far out. Also, recommend the professional photos that are taken.
