Hungarian cooking class with Chef Marti is Awesome!
Chef Marti is an amazing professional cook; her homey kitchen space is in a lovely and easily-accessible location in Budapest. We loved creating cold soup, chicken paprikas and crepes for dessert, and Chef Marti paired those with delicious local wines. Chef Marti is welcoming and personable, and in addition to sharing historical perspectives about growing up in Hungary, she is also an excellent teacher who coaches and demonstrates when necessary. This cooking class experience was incredible, one of our most memorable parts of our trip to Europe.

A truly wonderful and unique Hungarian experience!
My 18 year old son and I took Marti’s cooking class together while visiting Budapest, and we both had an amazing time! We learned a lot about traditional Hungarian cuisine and the origins of many famous dishes like goulash soup, chicken paprikash, and apple strudel, along with how to buy, store and use the different types of Hungarian paprika.
We all participated in the preparation of our meal so we could get a feel for the recipes first hand. Marti then shares all the recipes with everyone via email so we can try them at home.
She puts a lot of time and effort into the preparation so that everything goes smoothly during the class and meal. I was so impressed with the entire experience- couldn’t be more pleased or impressed with how it went!!
