- The 11:30 AM tour includes a guided visit to Budapest’s Central Market and focuses on traditional Hungarian food.
- The 5:00 PM tour skips the market and includes more local drinks and evening food tastings.
- Come hungry: Both experiences include a generous selection of Hungarian dishes and tastings, designed to replace a full meal.
- Small-group experience: Tours are limited to a maximum of 12 travelers for a more personal and relaxed experience.
- Dietary requirements: We can accommodate many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, although some individual tastings may need to be skipped or substituted. Please notify us when booking.
- Coeliac: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a fully gluten-free environment because of cross-contamination risks.
- Alcohol: Alcoholic drinks are only served to guests aged 18 or over. Non-alcoholic alternatives are provided for younger guests and anyone who prefers not to drink.
- Confirmation is provided immediately after booking.
- In the unlikely event that the tour is cancelled due to severe weather or insufficient participation, you will be offered an alternative date, another experience or a full refund.

So glad we didn’t eat breakfast before we went on the tour. What a wonderful way to experience Hungarian cuisine! The guide gave us great insights into the history of the food and the culture. Highly recommend taking the 11:30am tour so you get to experience the market place!
This food tour was amazing, Flora and Dani were fantastic guides and very knowledgeable. The food and drinks were plentiful and delicious, I would highly recommend doing this tour, you will not be disappointed.
Eszter, Flóra and Dani were fantastic hosts! They really made the effort to make our tour a full experience despite circumstances outside their control causing the normal route to be unavailable. Highly recommend!
Our guides were Flóra, Eszter and Dani. We had a very small tour group and it was so great having such friendly and knowledgeable guides. They told us about each of the foods on our trip, how and when locals would eat them, and gave warnings when things might be spicy. Afterwards we discussed similar foods to back home and compared with our own traditions. Overall, great experience. I had such a good time, I forgot to take photos.
Flora was friendly and her diction was clear enough for the grandad with hearing issues. We loved her explanations and care at each site. Flora’s smile and guidance were great!

Excellent adventure, tasting Hungarian food and wine. Flora our guide was fantastic. Goulash and Lagos were delicious, Chimney cake and chicken pancake superb, plus a lovely dessert. Home brewed apricot liqueur not to be missed Would thoroughly recommend this tour
Such an amazing food tour! I am writing this from a restaurant they brought us to on the tour since I didn't want to leave Budapest without another Langos! Flora, Nikki and Danny were GREAT tour guides! I am so happy that I booked this tour, I learned so much and ate such delicious foods. Definitely book this!!! I always do food tours when I travel and this has been one of my favorites
