The meeting point is Driving guests can park in P1-P4; P1 is closest to the Planetarium. Check-in 15 mins early at the Retail Desk inside the Main Lodge. Enter the lodge building via the doors opposite the P1 parking lot, marked 'Shops and Spa', our desk is directly inside these doors. Enjoy your tour! Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

The planetarium show was at a style and substance level geared to grade school students. Most of the photos shown were outdated - only one or two from the Hubble telescope and none from the James Webb space telescope. In the telescope viewing part we saw mostly small sparkling dots look like slightly larger sparkling dots. The presenters were obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about astronomy. But that didn't save the day.
We did the planetarium and telescope tour starting at 9.45pm. It was a perfect night for looking at the stars and we started with a short walk to the planetarium tent. It’s generally very well done and the guide was informative. The we went outside to see specific items in the night sky thru 4 telescopes. That was very good. It was dark - obviously- and you needed to be careful especially on one of the telescopes where you had to go up a few steps on a metal ladder.
We spent 12 nights in the Canadian Rockies. It was a perfect trip except for the Planetarium experience. After being greeted by a young man, we walked through a dark parking lot to the area where the tour began. It was very dark and there were no lights. I am 77 years old and I was afraid I would trip and fall. Then we watched the overhead video which had people with masks on. They didn’t even show all of the planets. After that we went outside to see the sky/stars through telescopes. I assumed they would be very powerful and we would get a clear beautiful look at the sky. I was so so wrong. Once we had to climb a 6 ft aluminum ladder to look through one of them. I was afraid the ladder would turn over because it was not bolted down. When I got to the top and looked through to see the stars it was difficult to tell what You were seeing. The guide said “oh it just looks like a cotton ball”!!. 😱 I saw more stars with my naked eyes. I couldn’t wait for the tour to be over. It was a waste of our time and I certainly regretted spending over a hundred dollars on this disappointing tour. My advice is to skip this experience.
We booked the planetarium show and telescopes activity months ago before leaving the UK. Due to the wildfires in BC the air was a bit smoky and it was also quite cloudy on the evening that we went, b it we had a great time nonetheless, and would certainly recommend this activity to others. The rain check guarantee meant that we were invited back another night for the telescopes activity, free of charge. The staff were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and excellent. Each of them ran a different part of the evening, and they were very happy to chat and answer questions. All in all, a great evening!
Wonderful presentation and experience for my entire 3 generation family. Perfect ending to our vacation. All presenters were outstanding.
The skies were a bit hazy due to forest fires further away, but still the stars came out and were both impressive and awe inspiring. The initial talk in the planetarium was well delivered and put the size of Earth and our galaxy (even galaxy cluster) into perspective. I felt so tiny. The telescope views were not as clear as I would have liked, but the computer image telescope was amazing. We were a group of two families with 5 kids from 9 to 14 and they all came away inspired. It was also great to hold some real pieces of meteorite. We did the earlier session due to the age of the children, but the skies were still darkening and I would recommend the later one if you can manage to stay up!
Such a cool night with the stars and telescopes ..a bit of rock from mars and other extra planetary rocls Too … and that was before learning about the aurora and then… the telescopes ! It was amazing using the lasers to see what we were going to be looking at and then clambering up Steps to peek through eye pieces and see the stars ! The final screens showing the view through the largest Telescope Was really impressive . Learnt a lot , clear night and wonderfully Enthusiastic staff ! Thankyou

Such a cool late night activity for the family. Start off with a show inside an outside portable dome in some 0 gravity chairs and tour the night sky via projector and then head outside ans view stars and planets through 4 or 5 differ et telescopes. The staff are very attentive and knowledge on the subject. Parking js easy and included in your ticket. Plan this for a day that you dont have to wake up early the next morning because you will be home late
Disappointed with a couple of areas. Firstly the planetarium display was quite good, but the transitions zoomed so fast at times to make one feel unwell. Secondly, given the weather could not support telescope use, that part should have been cancelled which is something that we checked for, rather than providing an academic presentation. Disappointed for the money.
