Enjoy a star-studded adventure of twinkling twilight and wildlife in the native wonderland of the Pinnacles. • Visit the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park without all the day tour crowds • Watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean panoramic landscape • Take a stroll along the Hangover Bay coast and spectacular views from Nilgen Lookout. • Take in the views of the incredible sand dunes from the Guilderton Lookout (*replaces Lancelin) • Learn about the Dreamtime and Aboriginal astronomy • Stargaze with our Telescope (conditions permitting) • Enjoy a locally sourced Australian picnic dinner under the outback stars. *Due to the temporary closure of Lancelin Lookout, we’ll be visiting Guilderton for breathtaking views of the sand dunes at sunset. Facilities include toilets and a cafe at the carpark.

Join us on tour for a day exploring some of the West Coast’s most stunning natural regions. Leave behind city life for a one-day treat to some of Western Australia’s best natural wonders.
After 1.5 hours from Perth, we stop to stretch our legs and take in the views from Guilderton Lookout, replacing the Lancelin stop due to its temporary closure. This stunning viewpoint offers panoramic views of the vast sand dunes, which are part of the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia. The gigantic, snow-white dunes create a striking contrast against the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance. The lookout is accessed by 83 steps (15 more than Lancelin) and takes approximately 7 minutes to walk up. With toilets and a cafe available at the carpark, this stop will not affect the overall length of the tour, as the timing remains the same.
Shake the sand out of your shoes, before we travel on to the Nilgen Nature Reserve. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we’ll wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.
If the flowers are in hiding, we’ll instead head over to Hangover Bay, where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear waters or spot the likes of bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.
With our lungs full of fresh sea air, it’s time to journey on to the Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert at sunset. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea. Best explored at dusk when the crowds evaporate and the thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert; watch the colours change over the rocks, creating a lunar-like atmosphere.
Enjoy a Picnic dinner accompanied by a glass of local product wine (all included), while we settle in for a spectacular light show of natural wonder, beneath the sky. As the darkness sets, it’s time to marvel at the other-worldly beauty of the stars and planets, swirling high above. Listen to the ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime and gaze light-years away.
On the way home to Perth, we will stop and take in the wonders of the night sky.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult, not suitable for children aged 5 years old and under
- A moderate amount of walking is involved, you will need to bring a 1.5L water bottle to complete the walks and stay hydrated
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately as temperatures in Western Australia can be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 50 degrees Celsius in summer and can get below zero overnight in winter. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the times of your visit and have packed adequate clothing
- Guests can change pickup points after the booking has been made, please contact our reservations team 48hrs prior to travel.
- Our standard vehicle size is a 28-seater bus, designed to provide a safe and comfortable journey. Our vehicles have air-conditioning and large passenger windows for unobstructed views. Please note: Occasionally, we may use a larger 28-seater vehicle depending on demand and fleet availability.

Long day on the bus. But very good tour. Star gazing was a highlight. Time at some of the stops seemed shorter than what was expected
This tour takes you to see dream-like scenery north of Perth embodied in fabulous beaches, fascinatingly white sand dunes and eerie pinnacles that will live in your memories forever. Stargazing takes place in absolutely pristine environment and expands our concept of the beauty of night sky. Our tour guide Annelies was very capable, very friendly and had a terrific grasp on a wide variety of topics, all relevant to the beautiful places she took us to. It was very fortunate to have her lead us for the day.
Our tour guide driver was Annalise, she was excellent made us feel very welcomed, she was a safe driver and very knowledgeable. If one of my friends or family go on the tour I would recommend to request her as a tour guide. We had a great clear sky day we seen wild kangaroo 🦘 in the Pinnacle. The stargazing was amazing, didn't want to leave, the food was good plenty of options. The tour company contacted me the day before asking about dietary restrictions, that was very considerate.

Incredible must go. Extremely well planed tour. Great spread for dinner, stethoscope for star gazing, clean bus, well planned schedule with good stops. Perfect amount of time spent at each spot and drive didn’t feel too long. Autopia guide Anna was clear and efficient and knowledgeable despite only living in Perth for 4 months thanks to research. We were a little early so she took the initiative to drive us to visit an extra beach. I had a problem booking through another platform and the operators went above and beyond to help me resolve it when the platform was terrible. Fantastic customer service

This place has very strange stones but beautiful. A must place to visit when you go to Perth, Western Australia.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so our first stop was rained out and too many clouds blocking a good view of the night sky. That said, our driver/tour guide/chef was amazing! She was friendly, helpful and knew her stuff. The Pinnacles did not disappoint. It was a good trip and I would recommend it.

Wonderful guide. Bus was clean and comfortable. Disappointing to see all the other tour buses having their dinner set up by the pinnacles on the sand where as we were near the carpark (maybe something to improve). We were left to go wondering without a map or much instruction so 3/4 of the tour got lost and many asked the other tours guides operators at the pinnacles where to go. Not much commentary on the longer stretch or drive so the drive while peaceful was a bit underwhelming. Overall though it was a unique adventure and the pinnacles where amazing.

Tour a little disturb by the rain but Annalise managed to work past the weather to explain all possible on Pinnacles desert and find us a place for the stargazing on the road.
