TLDR: The service was awful, the experience feels badly maintained and it barely worked for me. The upcharges mean you don’t get to do much either. It felt like a waste of time and money. The ticket is just the price to get in the door, and just getting in the robot is an unexpected upcharge. Doing so gives you some ratty gloves that ‘control’ the fingers, but they’re either broken or poorly programmed since the fingers just spazzed out. Not that it would’ve mattered for pictures since they didn’t move the ladder gantry for us (and ruined the view from the cockpit). The price to do the full experience was astronomical so don’t expect move the arms or anything. The worst part was how the English speaking member of staff kept hurrying us along and pushing upcharges and merch, so we never got to enjoy any of it. The constant rushing and corner cutting just ruined the experience. My partner didn’t even get to do anything. It felt like an artificial issue since the party before us ponied up for the full experience and dominated our time slot. This whole thing is just poorly run. As a sidenote, it’s just in an unmarked warehouse in a residential district. It’s a long walk, so take the bus. But you’d be better off steering clear altogether. I’m a Patlab fan, but I went in with reasonable expectations. Word is that they are shutting this down soon, and based on my experience, I can see why they’d lose the license.
