Paris Eiffel Tower Guided Tour by Stairs with Summit Option

Terrible experience. Booked Eiffel Tower summit with trip advisor.for our daughter’s 18th birthday. Got a watsap message from 3rd party operator ‘Tourr.com’ to say 4pm booking was cancelled was now at 7:30pm, nothing from trip advisor, no emails no text messages and booking still showing on Tripadvisor App. Went to 3rd party meeting point at 4pm to see if anybody was there. Checked the trip advisor App and no booking there, it was in ‘cancelled’ bookings. Tried to call 3rd party ‘Tourr.com’ on number provided. No answer. Received a message to say it will be refunded in 5 days. Clearly a scam, no tickets purchased by Tourr.com obviously otherwise they would have offered alternatives or to collect tickets if guide was unable to attend etc. they have had my £200+ for 3 months and now intend on keeping it another 5 days. I wonder how much interest they have made on my booking including everybody else they have obviously let down. Probably enough to pay Trip Advisor commission I’m sure and a bit in their pocket .Last ever trip advisor booking from me. Just hope I see my refund soon and glad I didn’t book it for a proposal at the top!

The guide did not show up. We were not notified in advance that the tour had been cancelled. As a result, we arrived 30 min early and waited 30 min more for nothing. We had to contact TripAdvisor directly to try to get a refund as the operator was not responding. We have yet to receive a full refund. Horrible business operation for innocent travellers hoping to spend hard-earned money on a once in a lifetime experience. Avoid this tour period.
