Itinerary

120 min

Your day begins with convenient pickup directly from your hotel or Airbnb in Paris. Once everyone is on board, we depart for the beautiful Champagne region. On the way, depending on timing and road conditions, we may make a short comfort stop at a service area where you can use the restrooms, grab coffee, or buy snacks if you wish. After that, we continue our journey through the scenic French countryside toward Champagne, where your experience truly begins.

Admission included20 min

During your Champagne journey, we stop in the historic city of Reims to visit the iconic Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral — one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in France and the traditional site of French royal coronations. You will have approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore the cathedral at your own pace, take photos, and, if open and available, step inside to admire its stunning architecture and stained-glass windows. When possible, your guide will also share insights about the cathedral’s history and its significance to French heritage, making the visit more meaningful and engaging.

120 min

After visiting Reims, you will continue to your first Champagne house — a small, family-owned producer. This visit is designed to give you an authentic, more intimate look at Champagne making. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the estate, including the cellars (caves), where you will learn about traditional production methods and the history of the family business. The experience finishes with a tasting of their Champagnes, allowing you to experience a more artisanal and personal style of production. This visit is an important part of the tour, as it offers a direct contrast to the larger, more commercial Champagne house you will visit later in the day.

90 min

During the day, you will enjoy a traditional French 3-course lunch included in your experience. This meal is designed to give you an authentic taste of French cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable setting. You will be served a carefully selected menu featuring a starter, main course, and dessert, showcasing classic French flavors and regional inspiration. This lunch is not just a meal, but part of your cultural experience in Champagne — allowing you to slow down, enjoy the atmosphere, and fully immerse yourself in the French way of life.

120 min

After lunch, you will continue to one of the renowned large Champagne houses in the region, such as Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Taittinger, or Nicolas Feuillatte (depending on availability). Here, you will discover the contrast between artisanal production and large-scale Champagne manufacturing. Your visit typically includes a guided tour of the production areas and cellars, where you will learn how Champagne is produced on a much larger, more industrial scale, while still maintaining strict quality standards. The experience highlights the difference in style, scale, and philosophy between small family producers and world-famous Champagne houses — giving you a complete understanding of the region.

20 min

You will also visit the world-famous Avenue de Champagne in Épernay — often called the “most prestigious street in Champagne,” home to some of the most iconic Champagne houses. Here, your guide will introduce you to the history and significance of the avenue, while you enjoy free time to walk along the street, take photos, and soak in the elegant atmosphere of this UNESCO-listed area. It is the perfect moment to experience the heritage and prestige of Champagne in a relaxed and memorable setting.

60 min

At one of the scenic stops during the day, your guide/driver will host a fun and interactive blind tasting experience in a beautiful setting in the Champagne region. You will compare different sparkling wines, including Crémant and Champagne, learning to recognize differences in taste, aroma, and style in a relaxed and engaging way. As a highlight of the experience, your guide will also demonstrate the traditional art of sabrage — opening a Champagne bottle with a sabre — giving you a unique and memorable moment to enjoy and photograph.

120 min

At the end of the day, your driver/guide will bring you back to your original pickup location in Paris. If you prefer, you may also request a drop-off at a different location within Paris, subject to your guide’s approval and traffic conditions. Throughout the day, feel free to discuss this with your guide so the return can be arranged in the most convenient way for you.
