Champagne is just outside of Paris! Join this small-group tour and you’ll discover the growing, harvesting, bottling, and proper way of tasting Champagne. You'll visit two very unique wineries, the Reims Cathedral, Dom Perignon's grave, and enjoy at least 6 tastings of different types of Champagnes. There is no better way to learn about wine than to see where it is made and to taste it with the person who made it! Join us and you will meet the Champagne winemakers walk through their vineyards of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and explore their cellars full of bubbly wine!

See the Chardonnay and Pinot Noire grapes on the beautiful rolling hills of Champagne. You'll walk through a vineyard and learn about the different techniques for growing and harvesting Champagne suitable grapes from your friendly and knowledgeable guide!
Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne is the favorite Champagne of the French people, enjoy the visit of the facility and taste 3 glasses of Champagne !
This Abbey and its Church are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Benedictine friar named Dom Perignon lived here in the 1600s. Your guide will take you to the Abbey Church to hear his history. Then you'll visit the graveside of Dom Perignon and thank Dom for the bubbles!
More than 800 years old this cathedral is a Gothic gem! It is covered in gorgeous stone carvings on the inside and outside. Your guide will explain its fascinating history and then give you 20-30 minutes to explore on your own and take the souvenir photos that you are craving.
Here you'll meet Stéphane an authentic, and charming, vintner (winemaker) of Champagne. He'll walk you through the entire process of making Champagne and let you get up close to the wine press and racks of champagne bottles in his cellars. Then you'll taste 3-4 different Champagne wines with him. You might go to an other small producer of Champagne on the day of your visit, we've got few partners and they are all very nice to visit and taste !
Epernay is known as the capital of Champagne. Your guide will take you to the heart of the old town and point out several of its most notable aspects. Then you’ll have a full hour of free time to explore the town and eat lunch wherever you like. Your lunch is not included in our tour price.

It was a great way to travel from Paris to the Champagne region with no hassles! The itinerary was just as I expected -- and worth doing! The two champagne houses were very good - highly recommend them. My daughter and I were traveling together, and were happy to meet another mother/daughter traveling with us that day and another woman from Canada. So comfortable! The driver was friendly, helpful, but not a lot of history provided -- but again I was so thankful for the easy way to get from Paris to Reims and Epernay without dealing with public transportation and the price was right!
My trip to the Champagne region for the wine tasting was incredibly enjoyable! I was nervous about going solo, but the guide, Michael, made me feel right at home from beginning. And he was so knowledgeable about the winemaking and champagne-making process, which is why I wanted to go. The 6 glasses were just right—3 before the nice, classic French lunch and 3 after. The two wineries were very different and showed us the wide range between small, family-owned business to the extremely large cooperative! The drive there and back flew by. The surprise was the visit to the Notre Dame in Reims! Such a special place with amazing history! Stopping by the church where Dom Pérignon was a monk, was fabulous too! This was a wonderful tour. I would recommend this to anybody. Our guide, Michael was exceptional. We knew nothing about champagne before today before today. And now we can’t wait to get home and start drinking it.

Michael was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wine. We visited two wonderful wineries, one large and one small, which gave us a great opportunity to compare different approaches to winemaking. The tour is perfect for both beginners and those who already have some knowledge of wine. Transportation was comfortable, and everything was well organized. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the tastings and ask questions.
