Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia

Description
Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish! First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking! You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special. After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella. Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

This was an amazing experience. Daniel and the team were top notch. You receive the added bonus of a small walking tour with information. They we arrive at the cooking portion. They serves delicious bites to enjoy throughout and great wine. The making of the paella was an experience we will always remember. 10/10 recommend every time about this tour.
So, so much fun! One of the highlights of our trip! The hosts were awesome and very knowledgeable! They were very communicative and flexible. The wine tasting was awesome, too! And we enjoyed sitting down to dinner afterwards! We made a lot of new friends!
Chef Daniel and his team vastly exceeded our expectations. We so enjoyed touring the market, the city around their kitchen and learning about the history of Valencia. We’d give the experience 100 stars if it was allowed.
Really fun class and got to try different delicious wines and tapas as well. Juan was an excellent teacher!!!!! We had a great time. Bridget and Sarah :)
We loved our experience with Juan! Would highly recommend. I went with a friend and we had lots of fun, but lots of families were also taking part and enjoying the experience!
Just a great time seeing a few sights in Old Town and cooking paella from scratch. One of the highlights of our entire trip in Spain. Pau and Michelle were excellent tour guides, sommeliers, and cooking instructors. An incredible experience!
Pau was a great instructor, and the València paella was easy and delicious! Can’t wait to try the recipe at home.
This was an amazing experience, probably one of my all time favorites of my trip. Pau and Olivia took great care of us and taught us how to make delicious authentic valencian paella. I would happily return again and highly recommend this experience to anyone!
The paella cooking class isn't to be missed. It starts with a walk through the town to buy the ingredients and learn about the city of Valencia. Our class was in August and about the time we thought we'd die we ended up at an air conditioned, beautiful, well equipped commercial kitchen and dining room. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and supportive as the groups cooked their paella. The seemingly never ending wine certainly didn't hurt. We ate the food we'd prepared and drank more wine at a leisurely pace, but all good things must end or told it was time to go so they could get ready for their evening group. None of the groups wanted to leave it was such a great atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend.
I have been in Spain for over a month and half doing all sorts of one off day trips and tours and this is the best value for money so far. There were 14 of us with 7 work stations of two each. We met near the central market where we went and bought some ingredients. It was great seeing how our guide interacted with the shop keepers and to hear his stories. We then walked to the cooking class location where wine and snacks were waiting. We then started cooking and had more wine and snacks. Then we sat down and ate what we cooked and had more wine. Then we had dessert. Everyone got to know one another. Daniel C was a masterful chef keeping us on track and educating us. Olivia was great on explaining the wines. If you didn't drink which was half the group there were non alcoholic options. Just an absolutely fabulous time. Highly recommend
