Wonderful Pasta making and wine sampling experience
What a wonderful experience! 🇮🇹🍝🍷
We had such a lovely time at this pasta-making class. It was so much more than just learning how to make pasta — it was a really relaxed, social and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
There were just 9 of us, which made it feel really personal and gave us the chance to chat, laugh and get to know each other while our pasta was being prepared and cooked for us in a delicious tomato sauce.
The wine tasting was the perfect addition too. We sampled red, rosé and white wines while enjoying the food and the company, and the whole evening had such a lovely, relaxed Italian feel.
The hosts were friendly, welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. It was one of those experiences where you can simply sit back, enjoy yourself and soak up the atmosphere.
A fantastic experience that we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lecce Italy. We left with full stomachs, happy memories ❤️🇮🇹

Fun class! Will enjoy making when we get home.
Really fun and informative class lots of wine throughout the whole experience. We had a lovely meal eating our pasta, with a starter, and fruit for dessert. And of course, more wine.
The ladies that taught the class helped each of us individually, so it was no fail. Will be making this once we get home!!!

Orechiette cooking class
We thoroughly enjoyed our Orechiette cooking class. We were surprised you could make pasta with just semolina, salt, and water. Overall, a fun and tasty experience in Lecce!

Great Hospitality
This was a very fun and educational activity. We were welcomed into the bistro, which was closed for other guests during this time. Making the pasta was fun and educational. Included today were three glasses of wine and a three course meal, centered around the pasta we made.

Orecchiette, But Not Much More
It had potential, but it felt quite rushed. The instructor was patient and pleasant, but I was not taught to make any sauces—just the orecchiette. Once the pasta was cut and shaped, it was taken away, and the instruction did not extend to preparing any sauces or additional items, as is typical in my other Italian cooking classes.
They did cook a nicer version—definitely not my messy one, lol—and served dinner with wine, but the “class” was over in less than an hour. They were also prepping the restaurant to open, so it didn’t feel very relaxed or social, especially since I was the only student and couldn’t move my class to an earlier time. For $79, I would have hoped to at least be taught how to make a sauce or a quick dessert.
Operator response
Hello Melissa,
I was there as your teacher.
In response to your review:
- Rushed: there's a specific duration for this workshop start time and finish time. Please read carefully before booking and before reporting confusing information.
- the workshop is pasta making, not sauce nor dessert making. This would be another or two different workshops.
- your pasta has been dried and cooked for the tasting. We don't take anything away.
- The workshop, including the tasting time when you comfortably sit and enjoy aperitivo, 4 glasses of wine, your pasta and seasonal fruit, is about 2 hours. Why do you report one hour? That's not true.
- about the time slot you have selected: your choice, we offer different options and you have specifically wanted that time slot.
- sauce and dessert in the same workshop? This is not what you have in our workshop description.
Ciao melissa, thank you for your visit.

A great experience
There were no other bookings, so it was a one-to-one class, which was great. The teacher was great! She shared a little about herself and was patient. She outlined everything very clearly and I got to make some lovely orecchiette. The meal was delicious and some wine and water was also offered. This was a lovely activity. Thank you 🙏

Very nice experience
It was a very nice experience! The guide was super friendly and enthusiastic, which was really nice. You also received 4 different wines included in the price. Erna let you finish the pasta, which provided a complete picture. Definitely a big recommendation, even if you come from further away and don't stay in Lecce (like us).
