It's a tall building, yes, but it was designed very stupidly honestly. Their OneWorld Restaurant is located within the same floor as the observatory and was very nice on it's own as far as restaurants go, BUT getting there was a nightmare. This building was not designed for people with reservations to that restaurant, so we had to go through the ENTIRE observatory ticket experience, including waiting in line just to bypass the 3min preview video that's part of the observatory tour, and then zigzag through the building with limited signage just to find this restaurant. This place really should have a separate entrance/elevator that leads directly to the restaurant so that we don't ruin our observatory experience trying to get there. Our reservation was for 2pm lunch, at the time the restaurant opened, and we planned to go through the observatory experience after we ate. However, because of how this building was designed, we wished we just saw the observatory stuff first and ate later. We were too irritated to enjoy the views after all that. The 3min intro video was awesome, but it was anticlimactic for us and I'm not telling you why (no spoilers). Bottom Line: This place needs a separate restaurant access, but until they smarten up, I HIGHLY recommend planning to go through your observatory tour before your meal reservation (if you make one).

Check your timing. I spent way too much on this because there's no line of it's very empty. I'm not sure why you have to skip it online cuz there were no lines in

Great views & not too busy. Loved the high speed lift
The elevator took us up so high, it was so fun! They gave me an iPad and let me be the tour guide for my group, and the little app on it was amazing. The prices were absolutely AMAZING! Everything else in NYC has been so overpriced, but not here, it was great!
Well organised and booking was so easy. Amazing view of the city. Cafe was good too. Would definitely recommend the blueberry muffin!
Thank you for your review! It's great to hear the booking process was easy and that the views from the top were enjoyed. We appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back again soon.
Would recommend. Nice views, not as good as some of the other one towers. Easy to navigate. Only gripe was we had a go city pass, you can’t pre book so have to turn up for a slot. You will never get in asap k on inundated what is 1hr 20. This so so you have to upgrade. We did to save time about $15/20 each. Enjoyed it.
We’re glad you enjoyed the views and found the observatory easy to navigate. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Go City Pass. Upgrading can definitely save time. We hope you’ll visit again to take in the city from above!
We visited the one world observatory on our first morning in NYC. It was a beautiful clear December morning and the views were spectacular, I would recommend getting the iPad (extra cost) which points out the landmarks - my husband was very entertained by this. The experience was great and I would recommend the all inclusive experience to jump the queues.
We’re glad you enjoyed your first morning in NYC with us! The iPad is a fun way to explore the landmarks, and it’s great to hear that it kept your husband entertained. Thank you for recommending the All-Inclusive experience. We hope you’ll visit again to enjoy more stunning views!
Friday morning at 9 am there were no lines - so the skip the line features of some of the more expensive tickets were not really needed.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Early mornings can definitely be a great time to visit and we’re glad you had an easy, line-free start to your day. We hope you’ll come back again soon to enjoy the views at a different time of day.
It was amazing! Place with many stories, modern architecture and the view is amazing! I consider a must go when I'm in NYC
The observatory is great, the views are great as well, the restaurant and bar is really bad, the people is extremely unfriendly, and there’s not enough seating available, we purchased $15 drink and eat voucher. It was not possible to get a seating. Even at the bar, there was not enough space.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the observatory and views, but we’re very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered at the restaurant and bar. Your feedback about seating and service is important and will be shared with our team to help improve future guest experiences. Please feel free to message at info@oneworldobservatory.com to discuss in more detail.
