Terrible
I want a refund. The tour was suppose to be with a small group with a guide instead there was 5 bus changes total and no narration on the way back we were dropped off a block away in the pouring rain. It was suppose to be door to door small group for the increased price and a guide to narrate. It was a bus driver only on a large tour bus! I travel a lot I’m very disappointed
Operator response
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the tour was not what you expected. However, if you reference your original listing, you will see that it is not a small group tour. You booked a combo tour going to Oak Alley Plantation and a Small Airboat Swamp Tour. The shuttle bus holds up to 32 guests. The driver's main task is to transport you safely to and from your tours. They are not obligated to provide a tour. Also, we do not have ownership over Oak Alley- we only provide transportation. The small airboat that you booked holds up to 9 guests at most and that may be where the confusion is. Ultimately, we provided the tour as promised. We recommend you reading the detailed information prior to booking. If you prefer a small, private tour in the future, we do offer that for an additional fee.

Plantation was beautiful...
Plantation was beautiful and fantastic to see. Lots of driving involved, but drop offs and pickups were well organized. Air boat ride was very fun. We saw many gators that came right to edge of the boat. Guide was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable about alligators. We got a chance to hold a baby gator, and that was very cool.

Love the swamps and our guide!!!!
The experience in the small airboat has been one of the best we have done. Our guide Captain B Bob was beyond wonderful. Very happy boxer of the area, the bay, his customs... you can see that he knows it like the back of his hand and made us a pleasant tour, full of data and we saw very closely more than 20 aligators, we had one baby in our hands, Bubbles approached, one of the largest we could see. It was totally FANTASTIC.
The Oakl plantation experience is good but I think it’s a long way from getting the most out of it. It's a long drive from New Orleans and it falls pretty short on history

Swamp Tour did not disappoint
Plantation tour was a bit disappointing. The grounds were beautiful and the oak tree canopy cover drive was majestic. Tour information was not very detailed about the actual workings and history of the plantation itself. Felt the information provided was a bit generic and also lacking any real substance, mostly fluff about unimportant details.
The Swamp tour was fun, interesting extremely informative, our boat tour guide was Amazing and the gators did not disappoint. We also spotted a bald eagle. It was very enjoyable!

A lot of time is spent in transit, but the coaches are very comfortable. Oak Alley was OK but a little limited. The airboat tour of the swamp was amazing with Captain Ernie.

Oak Alley Plantation is...
Oak Alley Plantation is beautiful. The grounds are lovely. It seems funny to mention this but the public restrooms are the cleanest I've been in. The Best part of the tour was the Airboat ride. Rocky, our guide, was amazing. He got us up close to gators and let us touch a baby one. It was awesome. I would definitely recommend.
