Our guide Meli was very knowledgeable and friendly, she gave detailed history and pointed out facts and details we would never have picked up on our own. Notre Dame is a beautiful piece of history to see!

Notre Dame private tour with Mellie
Mellie was our private guide of Notre Dame. She met us promptly, explained the process and gave us a wonderful tour of the cathedral. She is knowledgeable, personable and took the time to listen carefully to our questions and provide the information we requested. I wish I had a transcript of what she told us -- trying to remember the 2000 years of history she provided in a short time is impossible ... but we enjoyed our experience. She has an amazing memory!!!! I would absolutely recommend her for other tours!!!!!

Last minute decision- try to plan ahead.
Prior to entering Notre Dame, the guide provides historical information to set the stage for once you enter the church. The expectation in the church is to reframe from talking. With that said, the guide should have photos in a binder to show significant points instead of using a phone. Couldn’t see anything due to the brightness of the sun. Providing headsets while inside would make the experience more informative. The amount of money charged should reflect the experience.

Useless. No guided tour is possible since you cannot talk in the cathedral. Daniel told us what we already knew about the fire

Our guide provided many interesting points we wouldn't have gotten without a guide. It is quiet inside, so you must stay close to the guide to hear

Trip canceled due to Pope...
Trip canceled due to Pope visit. Understood but kept getting reminders by email and text ankut the event. Very mixed up wondering if it was on or not. Poor communication

Decent not great
Our guide was good but soft spoken for 5 senior ladies. She also did not identify herself with badge or find us quickly... We felt it was on us to find her. Access to the interior was "here for the prayers" which seemed a little sketchy.
