Temi was very knowledgeable about Notre Dame! She gave us information about the design and the hidden details you would never see on your own. Sge also shared a lot of information about the fire. She managed to find us in a very crowded area which seemed impossible. I really enjoyed this tour!

Our guide Sara did a great job of explaining the history of Notre Dame cathedral from the original construction to the most recent fire. All of the information about the cathedral is shared outside. Once you are inside, talking is not permitted if there is an ongoing church service (multiple services per day).
Tour description deceiving. Guide was very nice and excellent in knowledge and history. Skip the line access is a good thing, though. Don’t waste your money ($159) on a private tour. “Guided” means shown a picture book OUTSIDE the church about the INSIDE. Inside, you guide yourself and then meet the guide back outside because no talking inside. Yet, inside automated voice warnings on PA system tell crowds to be quiet, so there is talking allowed. Disappointing.
Our experience was not good We arrived 15 minutes early so we wouldn’t be late for the tour. Tour was to begin at 11:00. At 11:00 we get a call saying that the tour guide was running late. David asked if we would stay, the guide would be there in 15 minutes. We agreed to paid to wait. In total we waited 45 minutes before a different guide hooked up with us. She was fine. Spoke about the outside & history. About 20 minutes total. Then walked us over to the line waiting to get into the cathedral. It was too full and closed until 3:00 when the next mass was scheduled. She said she was going to stay. We were not able to stay because we had other things scheduled. If we could have stayed it would have been 2 additional hours of waiting around in extreme heat. We do not feel we received what we paid for. A 20 minute tour was not worth what we what we paid, plus no entry into the cathedral. If the first guide would have been on time we would have been able to get into the cathedral. We want a full refund. We are extremely disappointed.
