Normandy American D-Day Beaches Full Day Tour from Bayeux

Guide made the experience beyond expectations. Can’t say enough positive things about it. It’s been a while, but pretty sure his name was Alex. He is very knowledgeable but most of all, very personable. You can certainly visit these places without a guide, but you would miss the best information.

The sites and museum selected were perfect, while our guide was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We visited multiple D Day sites and were thrilled by it all. Our guide Axelle was terrific.

Amazing tour of the D-Day memorial sites. We had a small group which was really nice to not feel overwhelmed by crowds. Our guide Igor was the best. You could feel his passion about sharing the history of the Normandy invasion. As an American, it was a proud and somber moment to see first hand how men and women of the armed forces sacrificing their lives for freedom. Take this tour - we all need to pay our respects and realize the enormity of this chapter in history. As Igor put it so eloquently, freedom isn’t free. 🤍🇺🇸

Matt did an exceptional job of telling the stories of D-Day. The way he talked us through the events and drove us to the locations where the events happened really made the war come to life. Matt also took the time to research our family name in advance and knew that we had a relative who died in an aircraft while fighting for our country. He was really prepared and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Adrién was our guide and his knowledge and enthusiasm is unparalleled. We were a group of 6 and chose the private tour. All 6 of had different levels of prior knowledge, but were equal in our passion to learn all we could. We spent the day touring Omaha, Utah, the American Cemetery and Memorial, West Point memorial and other sites. I cannot recommend Gold Beach more highly. I know there are many companies to choose from...my advice? Choose Gold Beach.

Wow! This is as a wonderful tour. I learned so much! It was so good to stand in some of the places I’ve only read about. The tour guide was knowledgeable and clearly loved the subject matter. Would recommend to anyone wanting an American tour of D-Day sights.
