It will subsequently be nicknamed "Bloody Omaha", the guide who will accompany you will detail the events experienced by these soldiers so that you can feel the emotion that this beach can release.
An emblematic place on the landing beaches, this cemetery overlooks Omaha beach and is extremely rich in symbolism. Overwhelmed by emotion, you will discover every detail of this place of memory accompanied by your guide.
German fortification on the British sector of Gold is one of the symbols of the famous Atlantic Wall. You will understand how a German battery works and see the original cannons.
Normandy is one of the regions with the highest tides in the world. Amazing tour. We had absolutely the VERY best guide you could ask for. Igor was a local guide who knew everything about the Normandy invasion. He was simply the BEST! Very moving experience. We got to witness the lowering of the American flag and hear Tap being played.

The tour included all the advertised stops—the Mulberry floating ports, the German bunkers at Allemande de Longues-Sur-Mere, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Lucas was our guide, and he gave an excellent tour. I was impressed that he remembered the names of everyone in the group, five in total, which gave a nice, personal touch to the afternoon. The five-hour tour was just right: it filled up the afternoon, preserving flexibility in my own schedule without taking up the entire day. Lucas drove us around and gave us plenty of facts and information, often supplementing his ideas with pictures from a copious notebook. I am an American history professor, and I teach a course on military history, yet I still learned plenty of new information from Lucas. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

While this experience was very expensive, the guide, Adrian, went out of his way to make the trip very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and excellent at answering our questions which he encouraged. The 5 hours it took for the trip was the maximum length for absorbing all the information and history.

The D-Day tour was powerful and educational. Adrienne was an excellent guide. As a native of Bayeux he possessed knowledge not only of the places that all tourists visited but also hidden gems where we were the only visitors present. He shared details of the invasion strategies and stories of individual soldiers who displayed courage in the face of insurmountable odds. Highly recommended!
