Nikola was the best!

It's a long day with many activities and a fair amount of walking. However, you really do get the "Falls Experience". Highly recommended, and Nikola was great!

Dissapointed

So unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. I felt like there were some false promises like being picked up from our hotel. We received a message a day earlier saying that due to roadworks they were unable to pick us up from the hotel and if we could meet elsewhere which wasn't very far however, we literally drove past our hotel after being picked up and there were no roadworks. When we asked on the way back if they could drop us off at the hotel as that was the original plan the bus driver said he couldn't. Unfortunately due to traffic which was no one's fault, the trip felt rushed. The bus driver did say this was a common thing on a Friday afternoon, if they know this then they shouldn't promise so many places to visit as it just causes dissappointment and stress. It would have been better to skip certain places so we would have more time in others rather than going places for 10 minutes. Some of the destinations stated there was entrance/admission included however we never went into any of the places where this was needed which caused confusion. The dinner wasn't the best tasting but the staff was lovely. The bus driver did his best to talk about facts etc however he was definitely not a tour guide and some of the information was false for example the Burj Kalifa is in Dubai not Qatar. Ths souvenir which was promised was mever given, however there was water provided which came in a bag with a picture of the niagara falls on it and mostly the name of the company. Also we were to have skip the line for the boat, however when we arrived the bus driver had to organise the tickets and we were then told to go onto the boat, it did not feel like skip the line.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that several aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations, particularly the pickup and drop-off arrangements, the rushed schedule, and the confusion surrounding some of the advertised inclusions. Traffic and downtown access can sometimes require operational changes, but we understand how frustrating it must have been to see the bus pass your hotel after being advised that pickup there was not possible. Your comments regarding the limited time at certain stops, attraction admissions, the promised souvenir, boat ticketing, and the accuracy of the commentary will all be reviewed with our operations and guide team. We’re glad you found the restaurant staff welcoming and appreciated the water provided, but we regret that the overall experience felt rushed and did not match what you expected when booking. Thank you again for your detailed feedback. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with a much better, smoother, and more informative tour experience. Hussain Manager, Zoom Tours

Great way to experience Niagara

Seamless booking experience and pick up was on time. It was a safe drive in a clean and well maintained vehicle. The stops were good beautiful sites, wish we had a bit more time at some of them. The boat ride was fun. If you can, include the dinner in your experience, it was good.

Bad

They don't pick you up where they said, I waited more than an hour and despite that I arrived late to the tour because of them.

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the pickup confusion and the long wait you experienced before the tour. We understand how frustrating it is to be delayed because the pickup arrangements were not handled as expected, especially when it causes you to miss part of the experience. We will review the pickup communication and coordination with our operations team to help prevent this from happening again. We regret that your tour started this way and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a much smoother and better-organized experience. Hamzah Manager, Zoom Tours

Great dinner and night illuminations

Not sure I would book another tour with Zoom tours as they decided to change the itinerary without any advice to travellers we were excited to find a tour that included the evening dinner and fireworks as well as a visit to Niagara on the Lake. Unfortunately they decided to cut the visit to Niagara on the Lake without letting people know this could have been because the tour started late and there were multiple pick ups on the way which is very annoying when you have travelled from the other side of the world. I was given a partial refund by Zoom but we would have preferred to do the tour as specified. The evening dinner is great with an amazing view of the illuminations and fireworks. Alot of pressure to tip which is also a turn off as most people will happily tip if they have a good experience. Overall a pretty good day but seemed a little rushed and disorganised.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize that the Niagara-on-the-Lake portion of the itinerary was not completed as expected and that this change was not communicated clearly during the tour. We understand how disappointing this would be, especially when that stop was an important part of the experience you specifically booked. We also appreciate your comments regarding the late start, multiple pickups, rushed timing, and the pressure you felt around tipping. These are all areas we will review with our operations and guide team. We’re glad you still enjoyed the evening dinner, illuminations, and fireworks, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of the partial refund provided. Thank you again for your honest feedback, as it helps us improve the organization and communication of our Niagara Falls tours. Hussain Manager, Zoom Tours

Would highly recommend

Wonderful and informative about all the history! Long ride getting there due to traffic. Great photo ops and souvenir stops along the way. Ali, our guide, was very knowledgeable about everything Niagara and Canada’s history and had it perfectly timed to get us to both the boat ride and dinner with great views! Amazing fireworks show, and had plenty of time after dinner to have extra shopping/adventure time before the fireworks.

Operator response

Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the history, sightseeing stops, Niagara Falls Boat Tour, dinner with the beautiful views, and the evening fireworks. We’re especially pleased that Ali’s knowledge of Niagara Falls and Canadian history, along with his timing and organization, helped make the entire experience run smoothly. Traffic can sometimes make the journey longer, so we truly appreciate your patience. Thank you for choosing Zoom Tours for your Niagara Falls Evening Tour, and we hope to welcome you again!
