Nara Tour by Car from Kyoto Osaka Kobe

Mitsu was a wonderful guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly flexible and accommodating, making sure we could still see the places that were most important to us. Originally, we had booked a different private tour because our cruise was scheduled to dock in Osaka for two days. However, less than 24 hours before arrival, our itinerary changed due to a typhoon warning. Instead of Osaka, our ship was rerouted to Kobe for just one day. We were so disappointed because Kyoto and Osaka were two of the destinations we had been looking forward to the most. Since the cancellation happened so close to our tour date, we weren't able to receive a full refund from our original booking. Although hiring Mitsu cost a bit more, it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. In just 6–8 hours, he efficiently drove us to all the places we really wanted to visit. He kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed, and somehow he even beat us up every staircase in Kyoto! He met us right at the Kobe cruise port, making the entire process completely stress-free. I didn't even realize until the end of the tour that he actually lives in Osaka and had driven all the way to Kobe to pick us up. Mitsu was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our day special. My boyfriend and I still talk about this trip throughout the year, and Mitsu is always part of those memories. We would absolutely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone visiting the Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara area. I think this version tells the story really well while highlighting why Mitsu stood out instead of simply saying he was a good guide. It gives future travelers context for why his flexibility made such a difference.
