Your guide will meet you at your hotel or chosen pickup address in Tbilisi and we’ll begin our journey to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia — located just 40 minutes from Tbilisi. Mtskheta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Georgia, with a history of more than 2,600 years. As the former capital of the early Kingdom of Iberia, it holds immense historical and spiritual importance for the Georgian people. Upon arrival, we’ll park near the entrance to the city and take a pleasant walk through the charming old streets of Mtskheta. Along the way, you’ll see cozy souvenir shops, traditional snack stands, and local wine-tasting spots, giving you a taste of authentic Georgian culture. The highlight of our visit will be the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — one of the most sacred places in Georgia. According to tradition, it is the resting place of the robe of Christ, making it a deeply spiritual and unforgettable stop on our tour.
We’ll continue in the heart of the Old Town, where we’ll park the car and explore the city on foot. During this walking tour, you will visit the following iconic sites: • Tbilisi Sulphur Baths • Bridge of Love • Leghvtakhevi Waterfall • Meidan Bazaar Tunnel • King Gorgasali Monument • Old Tbilisi Cable car • Mother of Georgia Statue • Rike Park • Bridge of Peace • Anchiskhati Basilica (the oldest church in Tbilisi) • Rezo Gabriadze Clock Tower • Shardeni Street
The tour also includes a drive through the city’s key avenues and squares — allowing guests to admire Tbilisi’s highlights from the car. • Freedom Square – where guests will see the iconic statue of Saint George slaying the dragon, a national symbol of victory and freedom. • Rustaveli Avenue – along this central boulevard, guests will pass by the National Museum , Art Museum , Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theater, the Parliament of Georgia, the Rustaveli Theatre, and several historic buildings. • First Republic Square – featuring the famous Bicycle Monument. • Heroes Square – a moving memorial dedicated to Georgians who gave their lives for the country’s independence. • Agmashenebeli Avenue – one of Tbilisi’s most elegant streets, known for its 19th-century architecture, colorful facades, and lively atmosphere. • Orbeliani Presidential Palace – the official residence of the President of Georgia. Note : If there will be heavy traffic jams, some streets may be skipped.

My guide was George. He pick me up from my hotel. I had wonderful tour with him. 100% recommendation for this tour.
Thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed.
George the guide was great. Great way to explore and get a history lesson. The Chronicles of Georgia was worth the trip on its own.
Two wonderful places to visit and see. Our guide Badir ( Bubu ) showed us what true Georgian hospitality was and was extremely knowledgeable and even went out of his way to accomodate our plans. Highly recommended.
Its was my first tour in Georgia. I realy enjoyed. Guide George is very polite , knowledgeable , he explained everything well. I visited lots of places in one day. 100% recommended tour. Special thanks to Big George for wonderful day.
Special thanks to George, it's was wonderfully tour , we visited lots of places old and new capital , tood gorgeous photos, George was very polite and knowledgeable.
Our experience with the tour guide was disappointing. While we appreciated the opportunity to see the sites, there were several areas where the tour fell short of our expectations. We found the guide's attention to be frequently diverted by personal phone calls and texting while driving, which raised safety concerns, particularly in heavy traffic. We also felt the historical information provided was somewhat superficial. We often had to prompt for more detailed explanations, which were not always forthcoming. In comparison to other tours we've taken, the depth of historical knowledge and passion for the subject were noticeably lacking. Furthermore, there was an uncomfortable exchange regarding our nation's history. Despite our attempts to clarify the inaccuracies, the guide remained insistent, creating an awkward and unprofessional atmosphere. Overall, we would hesitate to recommend this tour. We believe that a more attentive, knowledgeable, and professional guide would significantly enhance the experience.
Our tour guide was George. He was soo knowledgeable. It was so interesting. We have visited so many historical places. I definitely recommend this tour to the people who want to ser historical places of Georgia. Thank you again to George for amazing trip!
Fun and informational tour. Gogi has a passion for his country and clearly knows his stuff. Moreover, he was flexible with our time allowing for shopping, roaming, and deviations from the script. Recommend.
We had a very nice experience and this all wouldn’t be possible without our tour guide Gogi. He’s friendly and nice, even though the tour is supposed to be only for 6hrs but he accompanied us for like 8hrs which we really appreciate. We’ll definitely be back here! Tbilisi is such underrated place.
Going was an excellent guide. Very helpful and knowledgeable. He adapted the tour to suit our needs which we greatly appreciate. Highly recommend!
