The plot twist I did not expect: somehow I ended up riding motorbike around Hanoi, and now Vietnam hahaa nothing can really stop me. It now unlocked so many different paths that I could take for my upcoming trip. Highly highly recommend this amazing team!
Thảo was so patient and is a very good teacher. We went from the parking lot, smaller streets to the old quarter. I did the intensive lesson since I was only there for one more day. He helped me feel confident and relaxed by the end of it. If you’re hesitant or scared to ride a scooter then I definitely recommend getting lessons with Thảo :)
It was a wonderful experience, Thao was fabulous, he answered all our questions and gave us a lot of useful advice! In just 3 hours we learned to drive a semi-automatic motorcycle!! Highly recommended
We managed to learn how to ride a motorcycle with no prior experience; the instructor was fantastic, helping us in every way possible and even taking us into traffic so we could better understand how to navigate it in the future. I recommend it to everyone!!!💕
I’m 55, and this was my very first time riding a scooter. As a car driver, I gotta say right off the bat—a car driver's mindset and a rider's mindset are totally different. Adjusting to that was tough, haha! But that just made learning even more fun. Huge thanks to my instructor, Thao, for super clear, easy-to-follow, and well-structured lessons. Right after my lessons, I rented a bike right here, and I'm practicing riding around the neighborhood on my own now. I wouldn't be surprised if I come back later to learn how to ride a manual bike (I'm on an automatic right now)
A really really well-run motorcycle school! Everything was straightforward from booking to the actual lesson. Communication was quick, the professionalism was good, and the instructor clearly knew what they were doing. I left feeling significantly more confident and, more importantly, more aware of my surroundings. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering riding motorbike in Hanoi, and South East Asia also.
I came for something different and left thinking, “Why didn’t I do this on my first day?” 😂 I’d already done the usual Hanoi things and wanted to do something a bit different. I came across Chicks n Bikes and decided to try a motorbike lesson. Honestly, it ended up being one of my favourite experiences here. I was pretty nervous at first because Hanoi traffic looks completely chaotic when you’re not used to it. But Mia was super patient - we then started us somewhere quiet, went through the basics, and slowly built up from there. I never felt like I was being thrown into traffic before I was ready. What I liked most was that it didn’t feel like a tourist activity. I was actually riding through Hanoi, seeing the smaller streets and neighbourhoods, stopping at local places and getting a feel for how people move around the city every day. It's amazing!!! Can't wait to be back soon.
I loved the experience! Thao was my instructor, his explanation was super clear. I could learn a semiautomatic in one go. Things to take in consideration: I drive manual shift car and I know how to ride a bicycle. I didn't have time to hit the actual road, because of some miscommunication. Make sure to ask if your pickup was booked. Cam on, Thao!

Friendly guide who explains perfectly, in very good English, who repeats patiently. We started from scratch and learned how to turn, how to do hill starts… The learning is progressive and effective, the premises are quite safe with an immersion adapted to the needs. We learned a lot and had a very good time with some lovely roads. A huge thank you!
