You’ll be greeted by our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. From there the adventure begins!
The first stage of our Hanoi City Insight Motorbike Tours will take you through the winding labyrinth of back streets and alleys of the innermost parts of Hanoi, to the sprawling city scapes and beautiful architecture that line the main streets. Along the way our knowledgeable guides will tell you stories of the rich history and fun facts of all the must see landmarks of Hanoi. From the famous opera house, to the crashed remnants of a B-52 “Flying Fortress” bomber that reached its final resting place in a small lake. We will Catch a glimpse into the lives of the locals and see the bustling markets full of life and vibrancy. As we exit the city we pass the Long Bien bridge, an iconic symbol of Vietnam’s capitol built during the French colonial time over 100 years ago.
The second stage of our Hanoi Scooter Tours takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, you’ll be welcomed into the more quiet and contemplative side of Hanoi. Surrounded by green gardens with farmland stretching in all directions, you’ll enter the canopy of guava and banana trees as our tour leads you down dirt paths into the heart of Hanoi’s agricultural countryside- The Banana island .
On our trip we will ride to Huu Tiep lake where an aircraft was shot down during the war. Our visit to Huu Tiep Lake will not only be a journey into the past but a reflection on the enduring spirit of the Vietnamese people, who have risen from the ashes of conflict to build a prosperous and harmonious nation. It's a place where history, culture, and human resilience intersect, providing a unique perspective on the enduring impact of the Vietnam War.
The third stage of our Motorbike City Tours lead you along the shores of the West Lake as the cool breeze off the water cools you down before heading back to the narrow alleys leading to the legendary Reunification Train Street.

We did a tour yesterday with Summi, Melanie and Ocean. These women were amazing! They took three women in their 60s (two of whom had never been on a motor bike or scooter) around for several hours of fun in the ciry. After about five minutes of holding on really tight I felt a lot more comfortable. They were careful drivers, good guides with a lot of knowledge and really sweet. I would definitely recommend this excursion!
Great tour with Hoa and Melony. I had a wonderful tour with them. I discovered many places, and good food, and it was so interesting! Melony is a perfect driver!

Took the motorbike tour for family on Sat morning. Greeted by Team Leader and her team at ThangLong Opera Hotel lobby. Started with ride to Opera House, B52 exhibit, Train Street, Banana Island and riding on the oldest bridge in Hanoi. We had Chicken Pho at a local house, taste good and proceed back to hotel. Whole trip about 3+ hours and we enjoyed every bit of the ride! The team of young lady riders were knowledgeable, experienced and careful and they speak English well! I would recommend anyone wanting a ride in Hanoi to try engaging them!

We had a great motorbike tour with Summi and her team. While traffic in Hanoi is chaothic and we had never been on a motorbike before we felt safe and enjoyed the tour. This was by far my favorite experience in Hanoi. My boyfriend and I booked a small group tour but ended up being the only ones so our amazing guide Hoa worked with us to customize our stops to hit places and things we hadn’t seen/tried yet which we so appreciated. Riding the bikes was also such a cool way to explore (both figuratively and literally, notably for summer travelers) and felt totally safe and easy! Our drivers Hang and Duyen were the sweetest, always helping us to put our helmets on, storing waters and rain ponchos, and sharing info about the city as we passed through. And I feel like we got to ride through parts of the city we never would have otherwise, like maze-like inner alleys and residential markets. There were times it felt like we were literally in a movie! Bonus was that the included coffee and lunch were to-die-for delicious. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Especially if you have only a short time here, I think it’s one of the best ways you could see and learn a lot about the city, including a bunch of awesome off-the-beaten-path spots.
