Not what was promised.
The trip advertised the possibility of swimming with dolphins, snorkelling in “vibrant coral gardens” and eating tropical fruit on a beach. The first and third were delivered, but the coral was dead and had been for some time. So if you want to see beautiful coral, don’t do this trip.
I have corresponded with a man at the company, who acknowledged that it had been a while since he had visited the coral. I suggested a partial refund for false advertising would be appropriate, but then he stopped the correspondence!
Disappointing!

Highly recommended tour - top guides!
We were out with 10 people, first snorkeling and then on a sandbar - (there you should be prepared for many boats and vendors).
Plus point for snorkeling: we were advised not to touch anything and especially to be careful of the corals - you quickly noticed that responsible interaction with nature is important to the guides.
The highlight, however, was definitely the dolphins. While many other boats drove wildly after them, we behaved calmly to the side – and yet the dolphins were right next to us. After a short turn away from the crowd, we even had a group of dolphins almost to ourselves and were able to swim right next to them in peace. A truly incredible experience!
Even away from the tour, we noticed positively that the guides look out for the animals: When we saw tourists on the beach surrounding and touching starfish for photos, our guides put them back into the water and hopefully saved them.
Overall a really great tour with super guides – clear recommendation!

A Truly Private Dolphin Experience, Far From the Crowds
This was easily one of the best experiences we had in Zanzibar. Captain Barnaba arranged a private day for us that included swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, turtles, a sandbar, transfers and a wonderful seafood lunch.
What impressed us most was how much care his crew took to create a better dolphin experience. We could see other boats rushing around the same small area, following one another and sending large groups into the water at once. It felt overcrowded and uncomfortable.
Captain Barnaba’s team did not simply follow the other boats. They went farther out, searched carefully and found much quieter areas. Their experience was obvious. They knew where the dolphins were moving, when we should enter the water and how to position us so we could actually enjoy the moment.
The result was spectacular. We were able to swim near the dolphins in a way that felt calm, personal and far more special than the crowded tours nearby. The crew also filmed excellent underwater GoPro footage, which was an amazing bonus.
We loved every part of the day, especially the turtle visit, snorkeling and relaxing at the sandbar. Captain Barnaba was gracious, responsive and incredibly helpful in customizing the tour and arranging all the details.
There may be many dolphin excursions in Zanzibar, but this crew offers something completely different. Their local knowledge, patience and effort made the experience unforgettable. Five stars without hesitation, although they deserve ten.

Best trip in Zanzibar.
Morning started off not great as it was raining. I contemplated to cancel the trip, luckily not. We were told we will swim or see dolphins, snorkel and see lots of sea stars, i was not convinced. 45 minutes into our trip the abruptly stopped and the skipper said we should get ready to jump in the water when he tells us so. There were dolphins. We managed to swim with them, a first for us. From there we went to a reef, not a big reef but one of the best snorkelling experiences we ever had. We then went to see the sea stars, hundreds of them, never seen something like it. When in Zanzibar, this is a MUST trip to go on.

Wonderful dolphin experience
Everything was really perfect. From the beginning, the expectation was clearly communicated that the chance to swim with the dolphins was at 50:50. A dolphin sighting 100%.
Since we were on the water relatively early, we could swim very close and alone with the dolphins. Distance part 1-2 meters.
This was not possible later, because too many boats were on the way.
The captain has always kept some distance from the other boats compared to the other boats. Also the snorkeling and the subsequent Sanbank visit were great. Crystal clear water and an extensive wildlife.
Can only recommend!
