It is undoubtedly the most popular place for snorkeling in Zanzibar and a must-do during your stay here. It is often called The Tropical Fish Capital since the place is well known for its large variety of different types of fish. Stingrays, Lionfish, Frogfish, Leaf fish and Zebrafish are just five of the over 350 different species that have been recorded around Mnemba Island. Mnemba island is one of the best and popular spots in Zanzibar for its beautiful and colorful marine life to your eyes before even you dip your head, it’s a right place for having a premium snorkeling due to the presence of plenty of fish like frogfish, barracuda and napoleon fish and hard and soft coral reefs. Great trip
Great trip! Saw so many dolphins, snorkeled in the reef near mnemba and had some delicious fruit. Everyone was very nice!

Fantastic snorkeling and beautiful water
Beautiful day on the water! We saw dolphins then did some fantastic snorkeling before spending some time on the sandbank to just chill in the crystal clear waters. I always love getting out on the water and spending it with a friendly informative guide made it even better!!

Amazing Hospitality with a lot of fun
Such a pleasant experience. We didn’t have to worry too much. A lot was taken care of by Mr Africa tours. The best part was the welcoming and kind guides who shared with us all they know about the island. The boat rides were effortless and the hospitality was top tier.
